jamotide: Wonder if the guy who made Eador is of similar uniqueness.
Dunno about Eador, but the guy who wrote Night Watch is a nasty piece of work.

jamotide: \ I believe if anyone can make the best RPG ever, it's someone like this! Wonder if the guy who made Eador is of similar uniqueness.
If he lives to finish it, and we are alive to actually play it....

rampancy: I'm interested to know more. Where did he make these comments?
Usenet, of course. A couple of examples I could quickly find:

Doesn't make me want Grimoire any less, of course. But someone as lazy and shiftless as Cleve is really has no room to accuse other people, let alone entire races, of the same flaws and vices.

Look at the map, the game world is absolutely massive.

Big. One tiny thing. Does anyone think the metallic sound effects are a bit overused?. Could do with some thumps or sounds of metal hitting flesh (bit more variety needed imho) or other non metallic sounds in combat

You may try to PM Cleve or simply leave a comment under the video - chances are, he will take your feedback into consideration.
Grimoire will never be a finished game worth playing and Cleve Blakemore has stolen money.

This is how it stands today and based on 17+ years of bullshit odds are it isn't going to change.

Retracting my other comments about this vaporware, it's bug infested super demo, etc.

Screwed around for a bit in the superdemo, ran into the Green Hand Gang in Briarpatch, with predictable results

I like how you you can use magic points to boost the dice rolls of your spells, makes it feel like a real RPG

BTW guys, although the Super demo link was only sent to Indiegogo backers, anyone can download it:
- removed link because of extreme unwarranted butthurt -

I doubt Cleve actually cares, after all it was the RPG Codex who convinced him to put it out early to use it to find bugs before the full thing is released.

It's apparently got 30-40 hours of gameplay in it (25% of the game), so not bad for a "demo". But of course if you like it you should buy it when it's released fully.

Its all over the internet, the guy should be glad that someone wants to try it at all. Which I don't.

"offending post" ...that would be yours right? Just edit it.
