Leroux: What does "a while" mean in this case? Minutes, hours, days? I've already made two purchases five hours ago, but still no sign of Rebel Galaxy ... :/

Should it be added to the game shelf or is it sent by e-mail?
avatar
Accatone: You'll receive it by e-mail. I got mine an hour ago.
When I made a purchase, there said there may be a delay sending the free code for the game, but it did arrive quickly, less than an hour, and redeeming it was very easy to do.

Edit: Thanks to GOG for the free game!

SenorFluffypants: Alrighty, I'm not certain if this is something I failed to notice from the previous sales here, but kudos to the whoever brought up the idea for a Wishlist tab in the Daily Deals part of the front page.
Unfortunately that tab hasn't been added for everyone. ;) I have an "ENDING SOON" tab instead, which probably is a leftover from a previous sale. But then again, GOG's front page does not work at all for me since the sale has started.

ShadowAngel.207: Since that is missing and the "1500+ titles on sale" thing seem to me this is all we will get.
They do not have delivered the promised 1500+ deals yet. So far are only 1169 games on sale.

I get the distinct feeling GOG is trying to tell me something.

Thank you for the 15 games via Connect!

Now I need to pick through the sale titles. This could take a while. :)
Sigh... I just wish GOG would respect my decision to browse the site without translating it into portuguese. That's not too much to ask, now is it?

Regarding the sale it looks nice but I'll have to wait until the weekend to give it a proper look
Without a doubt there are more ridiculously cheap games than I could possibly afford to buy, but I still miss the old model of bundles with completion bonuses. I just found it more satisfying when buying complete franchises all at once. I know it is fake satisfaction, but it is what it is.

As of now there are just about 1200 games on sale, but 1500+ advertised, so maybe there's still hope for some bundles, who knows. Wait and see, live and learn.

I made a purchase 12 hours ago and I'm still waiting.

That and some sweeter discounts.
And then publisher/developer bundles encouraged one to try new game genres/series that one may not normally venture into.
Bundles should have been there.

Fonzer: Edit: also anybody else has problems showing up on firefox the main page since it doesn't load properly and also can't click any of the thinking or roleplay games or more bundles to show up.
Is there are bundle with pharaoh and emperor rise of the middle kingdom people could link me to it.
Same here on Pale Moon which started as a Firefox fork. Both at work and at home.
Everything till the Hellblade banner works. Everything from 'Daily deal' line and below doesn't, including the news section.
No problems with Internet Explorer and Chrome.

still no sale on SiN Gold :/
Update
No, it wasn't a misleading webpage, nor a broken website bug. It was me. I am a total retard. :) I got it working and am going to go stand in the corner with a book on my head now.

-----8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------8<----------

I just went to buy Incredible Machines Mega Pack as a gift for someone to return a favour, and when I click on the "[x] Gift this item" box the page spins for a few seconds, then lets me fill in an email address and optional message and the "PURCHASE YOUR ORDER NOW" button is greyed out. WTF.

Is this some kind of "you can't gift this game, but we'll pretend you can with a misleading webpage that wastes your time and leads you along then wont let you complete the purchase with no clear concise explanation of why? Or is it a website/sale bug?

bhrigu: ...That and some sweeter discounts...
I don't know about that. Currently, for me, there are more 90% off games, than I'll be willing to buy this sale. Mostly because there are several -75% off or lower games that I must absolutely get.
How do you get the free game ?
I made 2 purchases since the start , and nothing yet.
Do you get a e-mail?
How ?

Kuzi110: make it possible to filter out games I already own
avatar
PromZA: should have including sorting by price
That's the reason I'm always getting angry and jumping to Isthereanydeal.com. They provide me with both functionalities mentioned above. However it would be really nice to have them here someday... :|

Especially Psychonauts is 90% off.
