keeveek: still no sale on SiN Gold :/
Perhaps you should check again? I see a 75% discount bringing it to $2.49.
avatar
PromZA: This is something that gets asked for over and over but never arrives.

Splatsch: I think that both of you should take a look at this very useful script if you don't already know it : Barefoot Essentials ;)

That's a great sale, and with a great free game :D Thanks a lot GOG !
Interesting toy, but I don't see why GoG can't add this functionality and sorting by price or discount. Now it still says there's 41 pages of games when there's only 38 or 39 of those I don't own, plus it contains any number of games now and not 50. Really this is basic core functionality they should just add. Else if we are to rely on scripts they might as well make the site an API so we can at least have proper functionality. The logic here just astounds me.

AlienMind: if someone can sell for 50% off across the board for multiple weeks something isn't right with the prices in the first place
What I said before as well. When a game is still selling for $20 after 10 years and a "discount" is used to bring it closer to real world pricing something is wrong. It should be $5 or less which is what you get in shops a few months after release.

Fonzer: Edit: also anybody else has problems showing up on firefox the main page since it doesn't load properly and also can't click any of the thinking or roleplay games or more bundles to show up.
Is there are bundle with pharaoh and emperor rise of the middle kingdom people could link me to it.

HertogJan: Same here on Pale Moon which started as a Firefox fork. Both at work and at home.
Everything till the Hellblade banner works. Everything from 'Daily deal' line and below doesn't, including the news section.
No problems with Internet Explorer and Chrome.

kresegoth: I made a purchase 12 hours ago and I'm still waiting.
avatar
HertogJan: Same here.
Same here, it loads fine and then something breaks it and some things disappear before it stops loading.

I got my free game though immediately after purchase.

MadalinStroe: As of now there are just about 1200 games on sale, but 1500+ advertised, so maybe there's still hope for some bundles, who knows. Wait and see, live and learn.
The frontpage still does not work for me, so I have no clue if they added bundles, I doubt it. But at least they have added a lot of new game deals today. Now we have the promised 1500+ deals, 1598 games are currently discounted. :)
That suprised me... but well, probably yesterday was a bit busy day, so they didn't manage to add all of them at that time. :P

They didn't, as reported here.
All titles are up now, though. See the thread I linked to for more info.

No bundles, just collections unfortunately. I would have loved to see a few bundles, too.

The bargains of the day:

$0.19 90% <span class="bold">POSTAL: Classic and Uncut</span>
$0.39 80% <span class="bold">Zafehouse: Diaries</span>

The base prices of both games have been reduced and they are still 80 resp. 90% discounted, not sure if that's intentional. So if you want them, grab them fast. ;)

That's at least in my region, prices for your region of course may be different...

Thanks! Well, if all is up, then now I can ponder on making my wallet thin. :D
Hang on, do discounts vary from day to day?

OdanUrr: Hang on, do discounts vary from day to day?
They are not supposed to, AFAIK. Why?

The reference to "Daily Deals" on the front page confuses me.

I think discount changes mostly are mistakes which get fixed during the sale. But I'm not sure. There also may be intentional changes. Only a Blue could tell you that, but probably will not. ;P
Now the wishlist tab is back, but it is showing all games from my wishlist regardless of whether they are discounted or not.

trifecta5700: I'd like a rundown on some RPG's

- Lords of xulima
It's tough as nails at the beginning. Save often, and expect a lot of reloads for the first three levels, when a couple of bad rolls can be all it takes to turn the tide from victory to loss. The opposite of "cool items drop like candy", but every one you do get makes a big difference, especially at the start. You will never be so happy to get one pair of shoes!

DO spend the bit extra for the Deluxe Edition; the Game Guide will help you avoid some pitfalls early on and the soundtrack's very good IMO.

Additional comments can be found in this old thread: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/xulima_imoressions

I totally agree with you of course ;)
I hope one day GOG will implement this kind of things :)

Thanks for the info ! Maybe it's time for me to try postal. I was intrigued by it, and at this price, it's a "low risk" purchase !

Me too. Thanks for the info. I saw the name before, but never realized it may be useful. Is there any similar tool for mobile users perhaps?
