viperfdl: I think I once tried the demo of this game and liked it. It sure looks interesting.
steam demo, i played it aswell never bought it because the demo is not the entire game and i never seen the game cheaper then 8 or 7 euros at steam (or i must have missed one sale)
i might give it a try here at GoG.

Anyway it is rather funny that this game arrives here , steam has more games like this but these will probably never arrive, cause many games seem to be seen as 'casual games' and Tormentum: Dark Sorrow might look like an advanced HOG(hidden object game) to some gamers, but it is not a HOG.... i have 400 HOG and Tormentum: Dark Sorrow is not a hog its indeed more a point and click game.

About the features:

Game features

single-player : sound logical
cloud saves : i assume the game will be in the cloud so you can continue from any place ?
this requires the game to contact some online storage space i guess, meaning it will send data ...
i assume the game will function 100% even if you are playing while the internet ISP is down?

overlay ??? the only thing that overlay reminds me off : is a overlay over the game like steam client has
allowing you to contact and see steam related things ( i disabled that)

So thats for the questions :D

mintee: gorgeous artwork, insta buy
Indeed, and quite disturbing; it also reminds me of Shadowgate.

nigelthezebra: Is anyone else getting a message to buy the full version and then a link to the Steam page when they complete the angel statue puzzle?

Thiev: Did you ever have another game version installed? Steam / demo etc?

EDIT: ok, it looks it might affect OSX build. We're pulling it down and will work ASAP on getting a fix ready. Sorry for the hassle.
Thanks! I did have the demo version installed through Steam when the game first came out, but it's been uninstalled for a while. I'll check back later!

Fairly certain cloud saves & overlay require Galaxy, so if you aren't using that then they're not features.

EDIT:
Cloud saves does not in my experience require constant internet access, only when sending or receiving data. I'm a little unsure when they do the check for the data in the cloud: obviously they do it when you install the game, but they might also do it when you start Galaxy or when you start the game. Data is usually sent when you exit the game. If GOG's service function anything like Steam's then you need not worry about cloud saves not allowing you to play the game: if it can't fetch or send data, then the saves just won't be updated. The next time you start the game you might have to choose between the saves on your computer and those in the cloud.

Whilst I have not tried it, I think the overlay is GOG's version of the Steam overlay, so they're likely similar.

£1.98 in the past?
"I can wait!"
Also, humblebundle offers DRM & steam for one price it seems.
Of course I have to instabuy this too.
And I really hope that we'll soon get
TSIOQUE.
Instabought, instainstalled, and removed from Steam wishlist.

FEELS GOOD
OH YES!!!

So glad this came to GOG! Buying it! ( :
Great to see the game here!

It was since ever on my Steam wishlist, but I almost stopped buying anything there. DRM-Free edition will probably make me buy this one and put it in my GOG library. Especially that DRM-Free versions should be easier to run under Linux.

I love Beksiński-style of the graphics. Worth trying even if the gameplay is not perfect.
Got it on steam, not played it yet, but planning to ...otherwise ...I was hoping for a GOG connect.
