Unfortunately I won't be buying it. I backed it back in the day, and was not pleased at all on how they dealt with us drm-free backers, with only a timeframed direct download of the installer on release (with no patches or updates available). They released it eventually on humble, but didn't give drm-free keys for it anyway.
Maybe it works better with Tsioque if it shows here on release, but I wouldn't bet on it.
I too would be disappointed with such a treatment; luckily, I missed the Kickstarter pitch entirely and only learned about the game when it was on Steam.
I was hoping since then it will make its way here.

I think it will. In fact, I think the reason Tormentum showed up here now is GOG and dev arranging Tsioque's day 0 release "late 2017".

I bought this yesterday, but can't get it to download properly. ) :

The Classic Installer (not touching the galaxy-infected stuff) insists on downloading it in THIS format, which of course, is no format. So it downloads an unusable file. ) :

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to download it properly?

Try renaming to .exe? Or .exe and .bin if more than one file of course.

There's only 1 file.

I tried renaming it, but it won't let me. It still keeps the extension as '.1_(15803)[1]'
