It ain't easy being the King.

UPDATE: The Royal Edition is now available for purchase, containing new skins, cutscenes, battlegrounds, and more! Get it 30% off until May 30, 10am UTC.
Owners of the base game get a permanent 80% discount on Royal Edition.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, a turn-based RPG where you try not to spill too much of your royal blood, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

After an ill-fated expedition to empty the treasury, Kay and his royal siblings must reluctantly go on an adventure to restore the kingdom to its former glory. Thankfully, this means exciting turn-based fighting, weapon-crafting, plenty of kooky characters to meet or recruit, and lots of sightseeing.

How did I miss this on KS? It looks great! I'm eager to see what you all think of it.
Looks like a lite RPG port from mobile.
I'll wait and read some reviews first.

It's not a port, I assure you ;). It was made with the PC, mouse, and keyboard in mind. I hope the reviews will convince you to give our game a shot!

Welcome to the forums. It sounds interesting, but I'll have to wait for a long time to see a big price drop. Wishlisted though. Good luck with your sales!

Oh, will it run on Vista?

No, not yet. So far we have Mouse+KB controls only.
Got it from here and kinda sad I missed the preorder discount since I lost track of the date. So far the game is great. I am loving it so far. I can't put a finger as to what it really is though. I get the quirky disgaea-ish lighthearted story, the bonds of persona games, a choose your own adventure part. So far it is a combination of good stuff from different RPG series and it is promising. The combat is satisfying and the characters feel unique. The game is quirky and lighthearted but not to the point that I can't take the characters seriously and that is what i liked about it. Definitely grab it if you want that quick RPG fill in between games. Im picking this as my lighthearted game to hold me off til Fire emblem echoes and disgaea 5 switch will release.
One immediate suggestion for the first patch:

Add a keyboard shortcut to advance cutscene dialog (without skipping it entirely) in addition to left mouse.
Doesn't FE:Echoes release tomorrow?
Seems like an easy job to hold you until then :D

What about Xpadder - you can use that to tie keyboard keys to a gamepad. Has worked with every game I've tried...

Thanks, that's a good suggestion. I'll add it to our "to-do" list. I hope you are enjoying the game :)
Looks fun!
I just finished the tutorial battle against the bandits. The two bonus objectives were to finish within 7 turns and kill multiple enemies with one move. I finished within seven turns with a move that killed two enemies, but the reward screen only mentioned finishing within seven turns.

Is this a bug, or do you only need to finish a single bonus objective each fight?

I'll double check that! You definitely should be able to complete both of them. This is most likely a visual bug if it occurs, the rewards should be applied correctly.
