Hitman: Absolution & Hitman: Blood Money are now available DRM-free. Get Hitman series 75% off until April 11th, 1pm UTC.

Money talks. Silence pays. Prepare to make a killing and follow the story of Hitman: Blood Money. When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing he may be a target, 47 travels to America, and prepares to make a killing.

Hitman: Absolution follows the Original Assassin undertaking his most personal contract to date. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world.
Thanks, GOG! Insta-bought the whole Hitman collection. At 75% off, it seemed like a no-brainer, even if the first 2 Hitman games are a bit long in the tooth. Now bring us 'No One Lives for Ever' 1 & 2!

darthspudius: Someone actually likes Silent Assassins, that's quite something. ;) :P Dread to think how it played on console.

Mafwek: Correction: Someone acctually *LIKED* Silent Assassin. It was a lifetime ago that I played that game, don't remeber gameplay that much. Besides, it was my first Hitman game, I was bound to like it.
haha fair. Should try it again and see how far you get. I didn't last long.

Breja: Is Absolution really that bad? I mean, I get that it's weaker than the previous games, but at that price it's still a little tempting. So is it "worse than previous games but still ok in its own right" or does it suck so bad it's going to make me smash my keyboard?
It's not bad at all. Other than the odd check point system, it's a very well put together game. A lot of the kills etc are great fun.

I agree with the above, its good for what it wanted to do. Also still looks pretty neat with all graphical settings at maximum. Not everybody liked the more linear 'story' approach, which meant some levels did not have targets to assasinate. They where more about getting from A to B evading bad guys/cops. But in all aspects, even those levels using all the hitman mechanics were well rounded and fun to play. Earlier I was kind of bummed to see some content removed but I guess that's just what it is. It still a solid game in any case.

I would've killed to see Blood Money levels remastered in engine they used back then, and I still would with the current HITMAN. Just hope we will see the newer ones on GOG in the near future as well.

It's a very entertaining game. Except mission 3, it's a great game. It doesn't adhere to the typical Hitman mechanics of previous games. Other than mission 2, it deviates a lot from them, but overall, it's a great game. Just not a strict Hitman game.
Trying to complete missions without using disguises and the satisfaction when you manage to pull if off is also something I fondly remember Absolution for. The check-point save system may be a bit too punishing at times but is just something to get used to, at least in my experience.
FINALY!
THANKS IOI!
But... I have some important questions:

1.TRAVIIIIIS!!!! WHERE ARE ACHIEVEMENTS?! You have an entire GOG API at your disposal! USE IT!

2.EVERY Steam copy of Absolution includes DIGITAL EXTRAS... People say these are gone in GOG release... (I have terribly slow net connection and cannot check it myself now)
This is treating costumers unequaly! Add them immediatelly!

3.Seems like GOG release does NOT include Sniper Challange... To my knowledge it is a part of EVERY subid SOLD on Steam... Why would you possibly want to remove it from DRM-Free release? This is again treating costumers unequaly! Add the game mode immediatelly! (Preferably don't add it in Extras section just to the Absolution GOG subid to make it appear as separate Library game position)

4.Did you fix (in Absolution) in Silo level (forgot it's name... it's the one before boxing match level) that guy's EYES that prevented Suit Only challange in that level?
(for anybody that does not know: there is an asleep patient at the bottom of the level in the general area next to last target.... there is no way to make him awake... he is entirely asleep but somebody at IOI f-ed up the code and the guy MAGICALLY sees you if you go past him and there is no way to get to the target otherwise so if you DON'T use certain level mechanic then you just CANNOT complete that level with SO...
FYI I completed the level subduing EVERYBODY but the targets (without being seen by anybody) and the dude ( had to use certain thing on the level to not be seen by THE DUDE ) so YES I tested )...

5.Can you PLEASE add game manuals in extras?

6.Please eventually add previous game build versions to the public GOG branch (it could be useful for speedruns and stuff)...

I LOVE IOI... It's one of THE BEST game studios ever in my personal opinion... But this GOG release seems LAZY and RUSHED and it hurts me as a Hitman fan...

7.
Oh and by the way IOI when you someday release Hitman 2016 and 2018 then DON'T FORGET to bring " "Other-than-Windows" " game buils! (because people DO want to use the native Linux buils!!)
Gotta say, gog's been on a roll lately. :)
Does Blood Money allow the user to save at any time?

IronArcturus: Does Blood Money allow the user to save at any time?
Yes, you'll need to manually save when you want to. There are no checkpoints.
But depending on the dificulty level you have a certain amount of permitted saves.

So basically from rookie to pro:
- Infinite
- 7 saves
- 3 saves
- No saves

So if a player chooses a "Normal" skill level, is that X amount of saves per level or do you have to use them for the entire game?

Normal is 7 saves, and that's per level.

LiefLayer: Finally I love every Hitman game.
I had to avoid Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 (2018) because of DRM Denuvo... I bought Hitman 2016 to support IO as indie but they decided to go with denuvo again in Hitman 2 so I decided to stop buying.
Now that they decided to release hitman here I bought both Blood Money and Absolution... to send a message: Go full drm-free, people like to support good developers that make good games, people just don't want to waste money on crap like drm.
This is my last support, I will only but Hitman 2016 on discount here on gog (since I already own it on steam it's not fair to pay it full price here)... if they ignore this and decide to go with hitman 3 with denuvo again I will just ignore hitman series.
And Hitman 2 (2018) for me it's already a dead game, I will not buy it even if it will go full drm-free.
Denuvo from HItman was removed in the June 21, 2017 Update. Denuvo from Hitman 2 was removed on the 30th of January. Steam DRM remains I think.
I approve of these releases.
GOG be releasin' them games! I hope the streak doesn't end here.
