Hitman: Absolution & Hitman: Blood Money are now available DRM-free. Get Hitman series 75% off until April 11th, 1pm UTC.

Money talks. Silence pays. Prepare to make a killing and follow the story of Hitman: Blood Money. When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing he may be a target, 47 travels to America, and prepares to make a killing.

Hitman: Absolution follows the Original Assassin undertaking his most personal contract to date. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world.
Thank you gog and IO.

Evixios: After downloading the game and booting up Absolution I feel like GOG should've put up a notice that the Contracts mode menu option has been removed from the game. I'm not sure if they did this on Steam as well when the server shut down but it still sucks none the less.
Contracts mode was removed from all platforms because they had to shut down servers: https://www.ioi.dk/hitman-absolution-service-message/

zandalord: GAMES WAS CASTRATED!!!

They removed more then 50% content from game (contracts).
This is what happens with online-only features when servers in shut down.

Be warned that Absolution has an absolutely terrible save system that barely saves anything beyond your location. OK if you want to play it roguelike, but certainly not one for the save scummers.

Blood Money on the other hand is some peak-level Hitman. Right up there with Contracts. Maybe even better.

Swedrami: The extras for example include an hour long Making of-documentary as well as a Digital Artbook (PDF, 72 pages) which would have been nice to have along the DRM-free release too.
Yes, that would be nice to have, but I game itself is fine too. :)

Swedrami: Here's a (complete?) list of DLC in the Professional Edition:
If I remember correctly, all this DLC was usable in Contracts mode which servers was shut down? So game developers removed all this DLC on all platforms?

darthspudius: I strongly disagree, the first two games in the series are considerably worse than Absolution. Though, I never felt the need to jump on these bandwagons. For the price, you get more than your money's worth.
I actually played Silent Assassin and Contracts on PlayStation 2, later which I actually own for that console. I found Silent Assassin to be better than Contracts, but I didn't play Hitman game for at least 10 years. I think I'll take 2 to 4 on GOG just to remind myself how they play and to finally be able to play the Blood Money.

thank you gog.
now bring us Freedom Fighters.

darthspudius: Two great games right there. Absolution itself is criminally underrated in my honest opinion. A really good game when it gets going.
Yes, Hitman Absolution is very good, despite all the flak it gets and I really enjoyed it. I am all for a good story in games and Absolution's was far better then any Hitman movie we will ever get.
I hope to see a multi-language version for Blood Money.

Someone actually likes Silent Assassins, that's quite something. ;) :P Dread to think how it played on console.
Is Absolution really that bad? I mean, I get that it's weaker than the previous games, but at that price it's still a little tempting. So is it "worse than previous games but still ok in its own right" or does it suck so bad it's going to make me smash my keyboard?

Correction: Someone acctually *LIKED* Silent Assassin. It was a lifetime ago that I played that game, don't remeber gameplay that much. Besides, it was my first Hitman game, I was bound to like it.
Awesome! I've been waiting for Blood Money to be on GOG forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Cool! I was wondering when these would get here.
Thanks, good release
