The genre-divining sequel is finally here.

Divinity: Original Sin 2, is now available in its full glory, DRM-free on GOG.com.
After captivating players throughout its In Development cycle, the ambitious sequel to the critically-acclaimed turn-based RPG is now about to reach new heights. Combining deep pen-and-paper design philosophy with modern-day enhancements it offers a vast world rich in choice and dialogue, innovative 4-player co-op mode, flexible character creation, a powerful Game Master Mode, and of course the chance to meet Eithne, the community-inspired GOG.com hero.

For more godlike goodies, go for the Divine Edition, which includes a Digital Artbook, a Lorebook, a Map, the Soundtrack, a digital Art Pack and a Making-of video. If you don't want to commit just yet, you can always upgrade later.
Newcomers to the Divinity universe might want to go for the Eternal Edition: on top of the Divine Edition's contents, this pack also includes Divine Divinity, Divinity 2: Developer's Cut, Divinity: Original Sin + Design Documents, an Art Pack and the OST for that game.

Watch the trailer.

DOS2 seems to be doing rather well, selling 180K copies since release, coming to a grand total of 500K sales thus far.

IFW: It would be really nice to have a Collector's Edition upgrade pack for D:OS 1, as a few extras are only available there, but I have no use of second copy of D:OS that is included in the CE price, not to mention won't pay that money for the missing artbook and soundtrack that are my only interests...
The Eternal Edition has the missing extras (only available in D:OS 1 CE), however I do have all the other games and extras included so paying for them again is not reasonable.

TLDR; please release an upgrade pack for D:OS 1 as well without the extra copy of the game :)
I second this.
Please....

Konrad: Hey all. Hope you're digging the game a ton, I stayed up way too late last night. >_>

Regarding Kickstarter content – we're aware of the issue with backer keys only granting the base edition, and we're working with Larian on getting the extra content delivered to everyone who should have it. All the things should show up in your accounts automatically, and it should start happening very soon!

RPGOracle: Any updates on this? It's been 3 days since this was posted, and so far., the only thing that was added to my account, is the manual. Please let us know what we can expect (yes, I know we can now also access the files on the larianvault, but I would very much prefer to have everything in one place on my gog account, so I see the larianvault files more as a temporary workaround).
On Steam the Divine Edition is provided to the backers. I don't see why GOG should be any different.
Anybody else experiencing extremely long cloud sync times, like 15 to 20 minutes?
Hey I need confirmation. Is, story-wise, Divinity 2 difficult to understand if you don't or haven't finished Divinity 1?

Not at all.
The game eases you in. You're told a lot of things and find books with short blurps about other events.

BUT if the game makes you want to know more about the Rivellon's history I'd recommend Divinity II to you. It's not on sale right now but goes on sale with good discounts quite often.
It's a totally different game from DOS2 but I found it enjoyable (apart from the fact that you get a stash quite late).
Has anyone gotten their missing extras yet?
What a game :D

LOL I figured it was - NO ONE in here is talking about the game...

... which usually means everyone who is actually playing it has been glued to their computers for the last couple days ;)

*edit to add* I still have to pick up the first one. I can't wait to play it, but I'm in the middle of The Witcher 3 and I'll probably need a "huge RPG game" break once I put this one down. But still really looking forward to the day I do fire it up. I've heard so much great stuff about the turnbased combat system.

Other than the manual and editor, not on my end.
No extras here yet but you can get them from larienvault in the Divinity Original Sin 2 section for backers

There's the other end of it too, 9 out of 10 comments that are actually about gameplay are to complain about it. The fact that there is very little said of the actual gameplay strikes me as most people really love it.

I have the same "problem" - currently playing Witcher 3, have not so much time for playing anything else and after finishing that, whenever it will be, I definitely want to go to play something short and quick, maybe some adventure game or FPS.
For those of you who were Kickstarter backers, I've heard back from Larian support, and it looks like the keys they gave us were already sorted between base edition and standard edition, it's just GOG still hasn't put the right extras up for us. Here's the last message they sent me:

"GOG has not updated the CE version of the game with the digital extras yet (just the editor and manual). We are looking into that, and hope to have them made available soon.

The Kickstarter keys were already divided into standard and CE versions. If there is an issue with the keys themselves, or GOG's system recognizing them as CE versions, then that will either be fixed on GOG's end, or DLC keys provided."

So I guess that even the ones that purchased the Divine Edition here on GOG has the same issue.
As always, GOG messed up again on the simplest things.
