Europe goes to war.

Cossacks II Anthology, a grand strategy inspired by historical events, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 60% launch discount.

Our fair planet has never lacked for mass-scale conflict, but the 19th century European wars were truly a sight to behold. The nations of France, Russia, Prussia, Austria, Egypt, Duchy of Warsaw, Confederation of the Rhine, and Great Britain got locked in an extensive series of conflicts that forever changed the shape and power balance in the continent. As a commanding general of one of the warring nations, you will take control of massive armies and try to neutralize the enemy forces in real-time combat before they can fight back. As you rise in ranks, more and more types of troops will become available, and if you feel like re-creating some of history's most iconic skirmishes, like the Battle of Austerlitz or the Battle of Ulm, this is your chance to see how you'd fare, general.

Re-write european history and lead your huge armies to victory in the European battlefields of Cossacks II Anthology, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 60% discount will last for the duration of the Back to School Sale.

It would be great if somebody from GOG write here : "Yes, we know about issue and we will work on it" I don't need release date of patch or a specific promise. I just want to know that competent people know about this issue. Or do you think it's hopeless?

I agree wholheartedly. While I can't expect GOG to respond to every tech issue on their now quite extended catalog I find it absolutely unacceptable that they may fail to address such a glaring issue on a newly released game without at least some sort of response be it from GOG or the devs themselves.

X-com: Oh, ok, that sucks, hope they fix this eventually

I wouldn't hold my breath over it. Yesterday, they added this notice to the game's page:

Additionally, Cossacks II Anthology requires either a Nvidia GeForce or AMD Radeon graphics device. IntelHD or multi GPU configuration with IntelHD and Nvidia GeForce is not supported.

I'd suggest you ask for a refund.

Sad it comes down to this but since that's how it is...
Oh. That's not a nice surprise regarding intelhd...
Sad news indeed.
So sad. But it is what it is. At least we known GOG is familiar whit problem. They just dont fix it. It remains the hope that it will by repair by some modder or handy fun.
By the way, is there any software which misleads the PC to think there's just one graphic card?
Haven't played / tried the game, but can't you just disable your onboard GPU / Intel Integrated in Device Manager?

I can't remember if I did this on my most recent reinstall, but I'm pretty sure in the past (on my Win 7 Desktop) I've always just disabled my Integrated.

Or is there an issue with doing this on a laptop due to battery life (burns out your battery if you're always using your "real" GPU)? If that's the case, don't most people game plugged in (I'd think otherwise they'd only be playing for 10 minutes at a time in high resolutions ;) ). Or if not, can you disable your integrated to play Cossacks, then re-enable it when you're done?
