Kinda like FTL meets Mad Max.

The devs have pretty much come out and said that controversy and shock is the whole point of Hatred, or at the very least, the trailers they've released for it.

XYCat: There's nothing concerning the quality of that game in any of my posts, let alone a statement about it being awful. And my rant is based pretty much on the statements of the actual devs who are not denying their aiming only for controversy and they spice it up with ridiculous hipster-like shit about games being too obsessed with plot and stuff.

Anyway, from what we've seen the Hatred game has the potential to be a great game or a piece of shit one. So far we know not. Your statement that is awful (and don't play semantics with what you said) is biased and unfounded.

In any case I don't want to personally further derail the thread about the release of a totally unrelated game, so I'm out of this discussion.
Yeah, cheap cashgrab is a statement on the aim of the creators, the quality is irrelevant, whether good or bad, if it grabs enough cash on the preorders of the ooo so controversial game and a political/artistic/whatever statement of the creators.
My statement that the game is awful is mainly nonexistent.

I now played it for about 2 hours. Really nice game with a FTL feeling, Even on easy it's as hard as nails or I don't have the right tactics. ;)

Well what the world needs is more hatred. Don't let anyone stop you from experiencing hatred to the fullest.

Now come on folks can't we all just not get alone and hate each other to the fullest.

I feel we will all be hugely enriched by such a game. Hatred should be taught in schools I think.

People said that about FTL, too. Some still say it, look a couple of posts below yours. Most videogamers are incapable of refining their tactics and mastering a difficult game.

OH WHAT A LOVELY DAY!! FTL-Mad Max fusion? Sounds like a sale to me. :)

As for Hatred, can we just wait for the game to be released to see its merits? Video games need more objective individuals like TotalBiscuit and less moralizing prudes like Thompson and Sarkeesian.

Yes it does get too easy, once you master it, but there is always Stealth B

After playing this game about 30 hours (on Steam), I would say that all in it is about luck. If you are lucky, you get good weapons and vehicles and will lose later. Anyway, there is NO tactics in the game. No matter what you do: the enemy will fire against your MCV until one die.
I have played FTL more than 600 hours and I believe that Convoy is worse by far, and a very different kind of game.
