Are today's releases locked n Brazil, South Korea and South Africa due to licensing/publishing reasons?

Oh well....I add them to the list and the mix.

Last time there were supposedly difficulties with the age rating (From the Army Men release which had a region for the same regions): Brazil got access to the Army Men since then but the other for the other two it's still blocked...

With today's release of the both Hidden & Dangerous games, the list sadly became longer again and also saw the return of Brazil as a country affected by region locks!

South Korea and South Africa sure take their sweet time to decide on age rating; it's been almost six months since the Army Men titles were released.

I suppose that we assume it's the same issue with the Hidden & Dangerous games, yes? There's no note this time in the release threads.

They do but I already expected that to happen...
I have no idea what exactly causes the region lock this time - I only noticed the coincidence with the regions affected. But it could be something else entirely - only the blues could answer that....

Let's see if we get an answer.

The brazilian GOG page said the block was for the same reason as before: rating burocracy. And soon they will become available to us. Since GOG isn't official in S. Africa and S. Korea, I guess GOG and 2K didn't even bother. it's a pity.

Interesting that they didn't add that to the English one. Seems like they cannot be bothered indeed - what a shame.

That said hopefully it'll become available for you soon indeed. Would of course be better if the game weren't blocked at all...

And this sounds like the Army Men games are no longer blocked in S. Africa.

EDIT: It was just a miscommunication, the games are still very much blocked awaiting that rating.
