Steam doesn't sell FO3 or F:NV in my country. Guess I'll get one of those here.

Funny thing is that FO3 boxed copy was available for sale somehow when it came out. One of my friends has that. But Steam wont sell the digital copy anymore.

I got a question for those in here who are from Germany. How much support among the German population at large is there for maintaining the strict censorship?

Here in Australia there was a lobbying effort (mostly by gamers but with game stores and such collecting petition signatures) pushing for an R rating for video games (although there are a few things that are still banned outright such as sexual violence, child pornography and certain depictions of real-world illicit drugs), I wonder if there is enough desire for change from gamers and such for a similar push to work in Germany or if the feeling in German society against this stuff (violent games etc) is different to the feeling in Australia.

CDU/CSU are still the biggest party. And both the new party leader and the new general secretary (born in the 80s) are mentally stuck in the 70s. Unless that changes, there is no chance for a change.

That's an odd one to block. And seems like they took a Chinese block and extended it to... related regions that nevertheless don't tend to block. (Leaving Malaysia aside since that's a separate area and they do tend to block. Or at least definitely made a name for themselves after that one-day block of all of Steam to force them to implement a regional block on one game.)

Not that the game's actually here yet, not even a coming soon announcement.

Anyone from Japan able to confirm the region locking on the Hyperdimension Neptunia series has been lifted? GOG-db shows there being a regional price for Japan (in USD) but I am unable to check if the games come up when searched on the store.

The games recently had a price drop in line with Steam's, so I'm hoping the region locking here (and not on Steam) is fixed too.

You don't need to live in Japan in order to check. You can just edit your gog_lc cookie.

Damn, that sucks. Was really hoping the price change was the first of many changes but I guess not. :(
