Of course not. Turn on your sarcasm detector. ^_~
Yup I'd buy Serious Sam 2 and 3, though I'd prefer a discount closer to Steam's deep discounts on them.
We need Serious Sam 2 and 3, regardless of any discount.
we want serious sam 1 and 2 hd vresion and 3 please

I own First Encounter HD and Second Encounter HD on Steam and I'd say unfortunately the probability is pretty low because they're heavily tied to Steam DRM with a third "game" which is called "Serious San Fusion", which is almost like a modding framework in which you can play those versions as one with mods from Steam Workshop (Yes, I agree, this is terrible and predatory modding design.).

There's a version which I don't know why it is not here yet though:

Serious Sam Classics Revolution

Which by my understanding is Serious Sam First Encounter Classic and Serious Sam Second Encounter Classic coupled together in one big package containing community and quality of life fixes like widescreen support, HD textures, and the like, but on the Classic games engine.

I don't have it there, so, unfortunately I can't say if its tied to Steam DRM as both HD versions are.
Just a shame that at least this version isn't here already.

Not a 100% sure either, but seeing as Croteam went through a phase where they went "all-in" on Steam, which is why SS 3 is also not here yet, I'd expect it does. But still, Serious Sam 4 which came a year after the official Revolution release did come to GOG. So the Revolution probably released just before Croteam changed their mind about the Steam exclusivity.

Either way, The Revolution would mostly just be duplicating what's already here - the classics. It's just the 2 games stitched together. Maybe the extra fan campaign could be fun, but that's about it.

EDIT:
From the wiki page:

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution, along with newly developed content by Alligator Pit, includes all levels from both The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, and is powered by an updated Serious Engine 1 featuring all-new advanced graphics shader support, full 64-bit compatibility, full Steamworks integration, and lots of bug fixes for a superior game experience. Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is a standalone product and it is completely free to Steam users who already own both original Serious Sam Classic games on Steam (Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter).

oof , thanks for the research and info.

So we are just treated as Second Class citizens here, huh Croteam?

That's nothing new. It took like 2 years for us to get the unrestricted .exe for Serious Sam 4 to be able to play with mods. And, the seasonal events like Halloween or Christmas never worked in the GOG version because they - you guessed it - rely on Steam.

And for the Classics, there is a patch that is on Steam that GOG didn't get. It was only a minor patch that allows you to pick 16:9 resolutions by default, although it does not fix FOV issues that come from forcing a 4:3 game into 16:9, which IS fixed in Revolution. And slightly improved compatibility on modern systems.

But at least it can be found here:

Clicking the "Browse" button on the front page doesn't open the sale store page. Instead it adds Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete to the shopping cart. Weird.

I think this might be an even better option: https://github.com/tx00100xt/SeriousSamClassic-VK

As for the pointlessness of the Revolution, this review pretty much sums it up:

Well, I never had any issues with running the classics on Windows 10 and don't mind playing in the original aspect ratio.

But will probably be useful to keep in mind for the future. Probably a lot better than Revolution. Thanks for the link.
