Just a quick question to consider. If you could choose one or the other, but not both, which would you choose?

1) All the trolls in this forum to go away and never come back, or
2) The downvoting system to go away and never come back.


PS, if convinced, gog could use some of the money as you suggested but I imagine if they did, they'd want it to be a one-off amount rather than a regular thing. Most companies compartmentalize and want each department to manage its own budgets, profits and losses.

2. If all the trolls left and never came back, they'd just be replaced by more trolls. There is no shortage of them. I agree that it should be a one-time cash infusion that should be used for replacing the entire forum with something that's at least halfway reasonable. I wouldn't have gone this far with this issue if the current situation were in any way tolerable.

Lol fair enough - like you said we both agree something should be done (but disagree on how).
It would be great if this does lead to positive action as this is a problem for a lot of people and however the problem ends up being resolved, I wish you the best of luck for being proactive on this.
