Btw... the M16... Holy Firepower, Batman! Explored the Citadel, bought the M16, stocked up on some much-needed bullets.

You'll won't find another upgrade to the M16 for the rest of Arizona, so might as well upgrade to the best as you can with the best mods. You can always remove them later.

The download is broken again and the new "patch" is the same size as the old one. I know there was a lot of bitching about my review, but right now I'd give the game 0 stars as I've just wasted another day downloading a ridiculously huge file.
Even using a download manager that ostensibly supports resuming and I've had to start over 3 times because the GOG server wouldn't complete the download. Hopefully this time it will complete.

Respawning bug with the patch. I'm outside Ag Center, I reload a save and all the enemies respawn plus the fog of war is back. It's great for getting extra experience, unless you wind up in the middle of the rabbits when they respawn. I think I'll go back to the unpatched version. This seems buggier.

I ran into a game-breaking bug in Angel Oracle, bah. Now I'm forced to replay the entire section of it which I really don't feel like doing since I got through some tough fights on SJ and got some neat and crucial items and trinkets. I can either lower the difficulty and replay the whole section which won't be an accurate depiction of a SJ playthrough or I can slug it out again on SJ, zzz.

I got another +3 initiative trinket in that bugged playthrough, the other items are not important, most important is I get another one of those... Wonder what are the odds. I got it from a travelling merchant though, hope he has fixed loot.

Replayed the whole bug section whilst avoiding the bug. Got the trinket back from the merchant. Didn't lower difficulty :)

Went to Whittler, I read about its madness on forums, cleared it on the 2nd try stripping out all armour. Looks like the ones who complain about it don't know about stripping out armour to fight energy weapon enemies prior engagement like in Damonta or fighting random synths in LA world map.
Now at Hollywood, got my .50 Caliber Anti-Materiel Sniper Rifle. Since your dmg looks like it's halved across the board on SJ, it just makes the .50 decent. The SVD is supposed to be a 2nd best sniper rifle (40-70 dmg range), but it's damn pathetic compared to ARs and Energy Weapons, I consistently hit only for 30-40 unless I crit, sometimes even 20s which is bullshit on SJ. As Compared to Gamma Ray which bursts for 120-150 or ARs which can hit the 100s on bursts, even the Neutron Projector(EW Sniper) hits for 50s-60s.
Sniper Rifles need a buff on SJ.

Seems fair, lol!
I finished the game, today: while I realy enjoyed it, I must say that a patch is in order. LA is imo still a bit messy...
Since you are in Hollywood, be especially careful: in that area I found many missions to be bugged. Better if you keep several saves...

So I saw the Death Ray in shop. Turns out it's a sniper sort. What does it bring to the table compared to the Neutron Projector other than higher dmg. Neutron Projector has 5 threshold while Death Ray has 6. Gonna try it out later.
Yeah, I made many saves. Even more so after the Angel Oracle bug.

I tried the slot machines that operate with scrap once (though, they might have been in Rodia but anyway), there's three of them side by side. I played on all of them simultaneously for a minute; I guess this was about 25 spins or so in total: not a single win, not even a small one. Safe to say gambling in Wasteland 2 is less "take your chances and win big" and more "dispense any extra ammo and/or money that's weighing you down"...
