At least in the case of Warcraft Adventures there is a (leaked) playable build floating around. It seems unclear how close to completion it was; warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Warcraft_Adventures:_Lord_of_the_Clans calls it 'almost complete' but also says 'another round of development, involving the implementation of new puzzles, tweaked areas, and more recording, was about to start'.

The whole Dreamlist/Wishlist thing is totally pointless since GoG has been doing severe votes manipulations!
Here are some examples of less votes on the Dreamlist then on Wishlist:
Deep Rock Galactic
Wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/deep_rock_galactic
Dreamlist: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/deep-rock-galactic-2020
Jurassic World Evolution
Wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/jurassic_world_evolution
Dreamlist: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/jurassic-world-evolution-2018
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition
Wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim_legendary_edition_1
Dreamlist: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-legendary-edition-2013
And here are is an example of more votes on the Dreamlist then on the Wishlist:
Freelancer (2003)
Wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/freelancer
Dreamlist: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/freelancer
How the hell did GoG found 43000 additional votes? this is pure manipulation, since the most voted game ever had only 62781 votes!
There are no doubt many, many more cases like this rendering the voting process completely meaningless!
And one more thing, i also found an upvote on the game i never voted for!

Beyond Good & Evil has two remasters, and for some reason you can add Beyond Good & Evil HD (the console remaster) but not Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition, which actually has a PC version.

If you search for For the Stars, you'll be told it's already on GOG, but the link is to To the Stars.
IGDB does have an entry for For the Stars,
https://www.igdb.com/games/for-the-stars
though it's not the For the Stars I was expecting:

I'm no longer getting a search result for the string "trails in the sky" via the main page. It should return https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/the-legend-of-heroes-trails-in-the-sky-the-1st
It does work when used from a game's page, however.
Edit: a day alter, it's working again.

Or games that functionally don't exist.

These days I'm flipping through the pages of the Dreamlist, voting stuff. I'm at page 2824, going backwards. I'm amazed at how very few people's "stories" there are, adjacent to the entries, compared to the entries themselves (and also compared to the games' pages' reviews). I'm thinking this may be due to the "at least 160 characters" requirement, compared to no such requirement in games' reviews, leading me to think that most people can't write nowadays! They can't express themselves in coherent thoughts. Most people, all they write in reviews is stuff like "Gooooooooood" "Amaaaaaaaaazing" "-------------------", or just one sentence, which look like inarticulate cries.
Edit: It would be an excellent idea to implement a similar requirement to reviews too, something like 500-2000 characters reviews obligatorily. This would leave many "reviews" out.
