Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

I also only got the confirmation when signing up for the promotion after entering my email address at the web page saying "successful". I didn't get any further confirmation, say, by e-mail, so I also thought it maybe didn't get trough.

After a week I got Children of Morta added to my GOG library, along with the email "game was added to your library". There is no further information on the promotion in the email, like "you are #13789" or so. So it's not very transparent.

I guess you just have to be patient.

But I agree, the problem was that you don't know if your purchase was "counting" for the promotion or not. In my case, my credit card was already saved. So I used that one to buy games according to the promotion, but I wasn't sure if that was enough or if I would have had to add another credit card - or re-add the existing one. Since I got the game, it seems that using an already saved VISA credit card and paying with it the required amount was enough. So, I guess, you just need to wait some more.
