[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

slurredprey: computer games only?
u mean no console/mobile games
tbh most console games are high quality and some free mobile games are worth picking up
You might be thinking of PC games...

Consoles, mobile devices etc. are all also computers. Like the post I quoted states:

(_,_): Moblie games are still computer games.

Guys, can we get back to the giveaways without making pages upon pages of kerfuffling, or do we have to start another poll for that?

I don't want to miss another giveaway, like that last time when there was a giveaway for Overwatch (which there will be a next time. The first time was a false start).
My 2 cents, I would personally prefer not to see so many itch offers here, however the voting system used was clearly very un-diplomatic. The yes's were split into 2 so that they could no longer match the no's even though both yes groups clearly want itch still here in one form or another.

It we truly needed a poll, then it should have been a clear yes/no one and then a separate poll (if really necessary) for what was meant by yes if yes won. As a counter-example. no could also have been split into: no - none anywhere; no - move them to another forum, no - unless they are also on steam etc etc to manipulate the results.

My suggestion would be for people to continue to post itch here if they wish and let the yet-another-freebie-thread die. It would be far better to work to consolidate the two existing threads rather than start even more.

EDIT: Yes, sorry TF (just saw your post) you're right, let's all move on and get back to the actual content.

I was just getting ready to say that. I don't like the decision in the least but what's done is done and it probably won't change. Anyways... I suppose it's technically just a free-to-play game but I saw this game on Steam and it looks pretty interesting.

It's called Crossout and it's a post-apocalyptic, vehicle-based action MMO.

Nice! I've wanted to grab the PC versions of the Sonic classics for a while now. The Sonic Humble bundle a few months back only included Sonic CD, the rest were the 3D ones and Mania.

Tower defence game Defractor. I tried it, it seems made with Flash and not good, but still free so...it might be a time waster for you.
