Finally, the sky is within our grasp! Did you reach out to it already? Are you planning on doing so during the weekend? Well go on, show us how your universe looks like!

Every planet in the vast, boundless galaxy of No Man's Sky is a unique ecosystem, with different vistas, creatures, and environmental conditions greeting each and every one of us when we begin our adventure.

So to all you explorers out there: capture these opening moments of your journey in a one-minute video or grab some luscious screenshots and share them here with the rest of us spacefarers.

So, GOGarins, how does your universe look like?
The game lags to almost a complete stop ( unplayable at some point ) and I can not change the default settings... I did not manage to play enough though to have a complete opinion. Patch coming soon I guess? Before you ask my computer exceeds the minimum req.

Hay guys
I love No mans sky ! Its different from the reviews i have seen. Its had real elements from the periodic table and lots of great caves to explore.

The most errors with No Man's Sky are "illegal instruction". This means that developers, while doing release build. used SSE 4.2 instructions, or something like that.
so far most of the NMS "adventures" seem to revolve around technical problems, bugs, glitches and other wonderfull things usually associated with pre-alpha game builds, not finalized game releases.
Got a two year old computer, everything works perfectly and seamlessly on high resolution...tho i cant say i'm impressed by graphics.....game is interesting for 3 hrs i've been playing it.....we'll see :)))
Still moving about on the first planet. Ship is ready to go, it has been for a while now but i'm in no hurry. Barren looking planet with massive underground caves/tunnels. Missing one creature to complete the dossier. Aliens found, creatures fed, outposts, monoliths, shelters, bases uncovered, shitload of tech discovered that i won't be using for a while because the tiny inventory is killing me.

Tech wise no issues so far, everything on high.

Great experience so far, going back in.

btw in case anyone is wondering, the red armor like icon on the lower right indicates that the exo suit inventory is full. It took me a bit to figure out that one.
Uh oh.. poor NMNS, even problems at launch..

Before repairing the ship, you need to get the "repair game" achievement.
I tried to reach the sky. I got zapped down. I am now investigating what isotopes I need to try again.
There are several streams of No Man's Sky on the GOGcom twitch channel. Memoriesin8Bit showed 4 hours of the game, right now NaturlaDave is streaming for 3 hours, followed by RetrogradeTom, after that it's Kilg0re_Tr0ut... So yeah, this will go on for a while. Tune in if you like! :-D

Well, considering I was wondering if it could live up to (everyone else's) hype, all I can say is I'm happy.

Lots to collect and do, like the Gek language is a briliant idea.

Very much enjoying the way you can seemlessly take off, pulse engine etc. One of the most usable set of controls for space flight I have experience.

And it does what I really wanted to do: give me that sense of mystery and disturbing isolation as I explore half-forgotten ruins that I'll never fully understand. It takes me back to the very first, and in my opinion best, Mass Effect game...

I just get a white screen upon boot up. My rig has an NVIDIA 980 GT, 32 GB of RAM, and an AMD FX-8350. The game is installed on a 1TB drive with plenty of space. The latest drivers are installed. Bu the game just hangs on a white screen. Horrible. No wonder it's getting killed on Steam reviews.

that does show how bad of a port it really is, hold down button for every thing, including changes in the option menu, oh and to exit the game you have to in the options menu.
Looks like No Man's Refund so far.
Okay this is a funny thread.

Still really looking forward to the game, and I'm sure it'll be up to snuff (performance-wise) in the next few days.
