AccurateArt: Just got screwed over on all of games by two individuals: JPIL0T and KM0NSTER
both with 0s instead of Os. KM0NSTER is already listed in the known scammer section, but I did not see JPIL0T there.

Two trading experiences, both times getting screwed over. I've learned my lesson!

HypersomniacLive: Report the impersonating accounts to GOG Support, if you haven't done so already.

Were the game you lost GOG games? If so, ask GOG Support to revoke your codes (remove them from offenders, and replace them with new ones).
Hey there,

Unfortunately, they were not GOG codes, so I have no way of revoking access to them. I would like to go ahead and report these accounts to GOG support as I do not want anyone else to be screwed over by these individuals.

I wonder.. does reverting the chat names to lowercase require months of planning and developing?
Or is it like a 10 minutes work? :\

10 minutes? More like 10 seconds! The thing that makes our usernames "all caps" is a tiny CSS command. It should look like this:
text-transform: uppercase;
To turn our names back to normal, GOG simply has to remove this line from their stylesheet, or change it to this:
text-transform: none;
Pretty simple, isn't it?

It's so simple that it hurts.
Various people have been scammed by impersonators and Gog hasn't still changed that stupid line :\

If ever you guys suspect somebody of impersonating me, give him a puzzle to solve or ask for one from him. That should clear up things pretty quick.
And hey, if it really is me, I love puzzles anyways.
Heck with it, skip all that, just send me puzzles.
As long as GOG doesn't change the uppercase chat names, people should always take a look at the URL. The username is shown correctly there.

Ok, let's see if you're the real one...

TlNYE told a joke, how many people laughed?

Dammit, you're cleaver, i was expecting you to say "none" since it's TinyE but there was a catch on my post, the "l" on TlNYE is actually a lower case l so you answer also works.... Uhm...

Let that be a lesson to you! Never try to trick the Puzzlemaster, buddy boy.

Okay, I'm hoping this topic is still active to some degree...

Short version is that someone (people in the thread guessed ScammerAlert/apehater.) is going around the forums impersonating me. Fairly recently, too.

At the beginning of the month, I had entered a giveaway held by Firebrand9 for the 3D Realms Anthology on Steam (see here: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/3d_realms_anthology_giveaway_steam_key/page1). In the end, I had won the key. I got the message around 1:00 and, due to not being home at the time, didn't see the message until 5:00. But it was redeemed.

Then around 7:00, Firebrand9 got a PM from an ljy0un (same name as me but with an 0 instead of o, and the same picture) asking for the key. Then he got messages from both ScammerAlert and apehater. claiming Firebrand9 had been scammed by me.

Could someone please make this new account known (ljy0un) as a scam. I've been on GOG since 2012, and this hasn't happened. However, now someone I don't know is running around trying to be me, and I'm worried that he's going to ruin any reputation I have on GOG.

Thanks.

(Attached are screenshots taken by both me and Firebrand9.)
