Haven't these very games been on sale at these exact prices for the last two weeks? I guess we're giving high profile publishers their own special little spotlight and calling it a new sale now. OK.

If the Community Wishlist gives at least a somewhat-accurate idea of how games will sell here (and in this case I suspect it can be used),

Horizon: Zero Dawn - 2,621 votes (and a separate wish for the Complete Edition at 2,267 votes)

Regarding basic review numbers on Steam, Uncharted has 12+k reviews, Days Gone has 56+k, God of War 86+k, and HZD 82+k.

Plus, even discounted, Uncharted is double the price of the others here.

I understand if Sony requires a certain number of units sold to release more here, and I can imagine
Uncharted is underselling, but it seems pretty clear God of War should have taken priority.
Of course at this point, it just is what it is. (Maybe that was the point; Uncharted goes first to encourage GOG to push it to get the bigger seller here, or something like that.) Perhaps GOG should just use their profit from last year to
pay the required "remainder"; not ideal of course but maybe worthwhile.

I don't think so, because they are not really fresh. And Sony knows that. :-)
First the console release, then PC-Release on EGS and now on GOG.

They don't sell a lot of them for the console and on EGS right now, if you ask me.
And if they sell some, then with discount on sales.
So, there is no different.

The big question is:
How many GOG customers are buying games like this in the first 3 month (maybe up to 6)?
The rest is only good to have.

So at the end with this view on it, it is correct to say: "That's always the question with high discounts, isn't it though?" :-)

All i can say is: At around 10+ USD Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone are a bargain... totally worth it, even for gamers not truly a lover of those genres... a good game is still a good game and nice to have.

I am for example not a big shooter gamer and it was never my first priority, however... i do value any quality game and a quality-shooter... even i can feel joy playing it... just not as much as a RPG of comparable quality.

Uncharted... well, we and i already was explaining the issue... lets see how Sony might react in the future. But for fans of the adventure genre i still can recommend it... and it is discounted too.

Just want to add about the God of War stuff. It was announced as coming soon at the same time as Uncharted, so where is it? that is the game I'm waiting for as well

Yeah. I have the feeling that we had like 3-4 major sales with God of War being shown somewhere on the main page as "comming soon". Guys, either you publish that thing soon or just hide it until its close to release. I think it just annoys most people at this point...

I'd have bought Uncharted if I had not already bought it for PC a year ago. Same with God of War unfortunately.

I didn't believe the mods when they said God of War would be here by the end of January, but to have a Sony specific sale afterwards and still not release it?

I theorized that Sony being the shithouse company that they are, are possibly holding God of War to ransom until the previous releases hit a sales target, and sadly this makes me think I may have been right...

This does not bode well for the two Sony PC games I really want.

The longer we are forced to wait, the worse the sales numbers for GoW will ultimately be, so this would probably be a good idea if GOG wants to actually keep interest up. I mean it's bad that they'd have to do it that way, but dealing with scumbags like Sony was always going to have to require compromise.
