moonshineshadow: It sure does not hurt to have a look. It is not like you'll be damned to use it if you don't like it :-)
I won't? Are you sure? I don't trust it. It looks so purple and so not grey... it's like GOG is giving up yet another core value. What if Fallout stops disappearing from my shelf after trying galaxy?

Don't worry, inside the client there is a lot of grey, you'll feel right at home ;-)
But yeah, perhaps you really should stay away, since Fallout never disappears in the galaxy client. It is really scary :P

moonshineshadow: That's a good one. "Friends Forever!"
"Hunt the friend invite" achievement unlocked! :)

You're in Romania now? Which city? You wandering pineapple :)
I would have gifted my key if I had known that it still hasn't got a Linux port (but Mac instead), now I can't use it because I'm never online with WinXP and seldomly boot it up at all, otherwise I'd try it although not without backing up the saves from my GoG games since I've read it deleted all previously installed GoG games for someone.

iphgix: What is this galaxy nonsense I keep hearing about?
It's a mightily-difficult-to-dodge attack used by a small but very resilient bean that resides in a volcano.

Oh, you're talking about GOG Galaxy, not Neo Galaxy...

Rumour has it that if that happens, the GOG homepage will end up stuck showing Jack Keane ads/promo spots everywhere The Witcher 3 currently shows up - until you accept at least 25 friend requests on Galaxy and unlock the "25+ friends of Jack Keane" achievment. :)

Yeah, had to come for a while for work reasons. So I'm not as free as I would have liked.

I'm in Sfântu-Gheorghe, near Brasov. Small place, unfortunately they don't have a hostel. But I got a single room instead, so it's like a mini holiday with 12 hour work schedules. Sweet stuff.

P1na: .
Yeah, it's a small town.. But you might want to visit Brasov... All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy

I don't like the achievements and the friends thing either, but I like the banner. It looks lovely. Maybe I'm just a fan of white on purple. *sigh*

I spent a night in Brasov already, I got to walk around a bit and it looked pretty nice. I didn't have time to go up the hill though, and I can't get very far for the weekend, so I was thinking to get back there again. Assuming I can find the bus stop, that is.

You can always get the train. It's awfully slow, but will get you from A to B... Or take a taxi to the bus stop. Taxis in Romania are dirt cheap.

Taxis are cheating, half the fun lies in getting lost and wandering around.

Unless it's raining. I like rainy countries, because I like green landscape and greenery needs water, but I'm not exactly extatic when it rains on me.
