jamyskis: I may find the constant "friend me plz" threads irritating, but I'm finding the repeat threads from the same few offenders about how they're offended by the very concept of Galaxy and how they'll think twice about spending their money here just as irritaing.
I won't lie, whatever GOG's protestations, it is the end of an era. Galaxy brings with it the same heap of implicit copy protection mechanisms that
Steam is so awfully proud of. Keeping that out of people's way, how long is that supposed to work out? One year, two? Or just right until the moment people find out that they can expect patches five days earlier when they're doing auto updates?
Thinking twice about spending money here however, that doesn't make much sense. Where would they want to spend their money instead? At the largest Steam key reseller, because they have "DRM free games" somewhere on their attic?
Times of turmoil. :(
