It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

IMPORTANT: Please read before posting This topic has been provided to discuss the latest releases of our Downloader (for both Mac and Windows systems) and to submit bug reports. The stable releases (recommended for most users) can be found at this address:http://www.gog.com/downloader.

Latest version:

Mac OS X - 1.2 (build 512)
Windows - 3.6.0

Both Downloaders now have the option of sending Error Reports directly to us (this can be found in app under Settings).

I'm getting the exact same problem as Delar and Scrubjay. Windows 7 x64 english.
Downloader v 3.0.51 stable AND 3.1.2 Beta (yes, I tried both, including changing the beta setting on the site)

Windows 7 x64 Home Premium - English

I too am having the issue where it continually fails to log in. This includes it popping up additional login prompts when the login fails.

The exact error message that appears in the original login window is shown in the attached screenshot (note that my username and password have been redacted).

On a side note, I still had the old AIR downloader installed and it was also failing to log in.

Taliesyn: I'm not even getting this far. The downloader starts up, and everything's greyed out except for the Settings button in the top right. In the bottom right, it simply says 'error, retrying...'
Taliesyn summed up my problem pretty well. Note that I am on windows 7 64bit, using firefox, speak english and am using the latest downloader version.

Same problem. Won't log in. Doesn't work. It as fine until I was FORCED to upgrade it yesterday. Grrrrr.
Hey guys, does the problem still occurs? Tried logging out and in and seems everything is working fine. Please let us know. Logger details are more than welcome.

Stopped working a half hour ago. Rebooted and all, but still says to send logfile. I'm not exactly sure how to attach the zipfile though...

EDIT

Rename the .PNG to .ZIP

Try removing the contents of the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com folder and restart the Downloader. Re-add the games to the queue. Let me know if that helped.
IMPORTANT: We've discovered a nasty bug in the Downloader's update system and therefore we would like to kindly ask you to re-download the installer, either Stable (http://www.gog.com/downloader) or Beta (http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/introducing_the_beta_release_of_the_new_gogcom_downloader/post1). The new installers also have some tweaks and improvements as well (no new features though), so you won't be downloading exactly the same thing.

The version inside the app won't change, the installer file is marked as version "b".
Stable: 3.0.51b
Beta: 3.1.2b

Thanks and sorry for the trouble :)

jdarnold: But buttons still do nothing.

Fallen_Zen: We'll look into it. Just make sure this is set to off: https://secure.gog.com/en/account/beta
BTW, turning off the beta mode fixed my downloading problem. So the stable version works fine.

Same here. I was prompted this morning to update the client when I ran it again to get the Alan Wake patches. After the update the downloader stopped working. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it to be sure. I had to disable beta mode in my account settings to get the client to start working again.
HEY! I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS YOU GUYS, AS FAR AS RUNNING THE DOWNLOADER. IT WON'T LET ME LOG IN. I HAVE TRIED LOGGING OFF AND THEN LOGGING BACK IN, TO NO AVAIL. I AM USING THE 3.0.5 VERSION, WINDOWS 7, IN ENGLISH.
