SirPrimalform: Well they're not there right from the first second. If I'm awake when the new game goes up (as I was last night) then the average is $1.

spoderman: Yeah, it's definitely not rigged from the start. Could be the admins buying/faking purchases after a couple minutes in though. Wouldn't surprise me.. if Humble Bundle does it, why not IGS?
Proof?
(I'm not out to defend HIB, I want more ammo for when I might want to bash them.)

You can still get Marbles, this one and the next one for tenbux.

I'll admit I don't have 100% proof, but I saw someone from another forum point this out a couple weeks ago:

"The HB guys have said that the initial BTA price is set by the developers/publishers themselves from a fake purchase of 100 (I think...) bundles before the bundle becomes available for purchase. There's no way to have an "average" with zero bundle sales."

It's basically impossible for the BTA to not be rigged, I've refreshed the HB site for several bundles right when they went live, and they always have a certain amount of bundles sold.

IGS isn't quite as bad, they at least give you a minute or so before the BTA price goes up.

Owners of the first and second episodes of Cognition on IndieGameStand, can get Steam keys now... ;)
For me it looks like another soulless platformer... A long time since I bought something on IGS
New Deal: PWYW for Pixeljam Trilogy: Potatoman Seeks the Troof, Planeteri and Bitku Beta. BTA for complete collection (The Octology) of 8 games, apps and albums from Pixeljam Games and membership to exclusive Treat List

This has been featured on BundleDragon, and still is on dev site, but this is the best deal of the bunch so far.
Pass
Im starting to think it might be better to check these games for the extras or the music rather than the game themselves

This doesn't look like that bad of a deal. Any opinions ?

Well, I tried to play one of their games ("Potatoman") and felt trolled. The game required a ridiculous amount of processing power for displaying ridiculously crude graphics. Gameplay seemed very simplistic as well, but I lost interest very quickly, so I can't tell if it's getting better over time.

Bah ! I hate poorly optimized games :/
