yogsloth: I haven't checked this thread in quite a few days.

Has there been any offical word at all about the myriad of box artwork and sorting issues?
As many words as the amount of money you have spent on Groupees during the last days/weeks.

Came here not expecting to see a blue's post, was not disapointed.

Maybe if I say "I will ask for a refund of my Witcher 3 pre-order", "stop with Witcher's 3 spam" or "the new Witcher's 3 gameplay trailer doesn't show gameplay", a blue will answer us.

Ups, I forgot replying to customers experiencing various issues and fixing the website doesn't give GOG much money, unlike the witcher's 3 pre-orders (hence iWi's damage control in the expansion pass thread just 1 day after the announcement and Ciri's quick replies on the new trailer thread) and that optional (for the moment) client that will lead to a DRM'ed GOG, named Galaxy, which will attract all the Steam sheeps.

Oh almigthy blues, can't you show a little bit of your fake customer love to us?

BTW, can you please bundle your programmers up to see if you can create at least one with mediocre programming skils that will stop screwing the website everytime he touches a keyboard? Thanks.

PS: You should reward mrkgnao, Barefoot_Monkey, IAmSinistar and so many others users for the commitment they show for this community and for doing your work many times, without this awesome passionate community you would have nothing. Thanks to all this guys, they deserve my respect.

Regards,
a customer sick of your lies and incompetence.

Jedilink: I'm ALSO hoping they will add a mode similar to "Big Picture Mode" on Steam, as I sometimes like to hook my computer up to my TV and surround sound for a living room style experience.
This would be great. I only game on TV. 38" screen with old school Dolby surround For The Win. The only way I would change how I play would be a bigger TV, or a more modern sound setup. Needless to day, "Big Picture" style interface would be awesome for me.

HypersomniacLive: Reading the exchange you had with Destro, I can't see anything in his wording that could be interpreted as even remotely implying "no way". He's talking about the technical capability of the Galaxy client to download the standalone installers (and I still think that they added it to the client because of the voices stating their disappointment about the discontinuation of the GOG Downloader without offering an alternative), but that does not necessarily mean that they will always remain available.

We were told that downloading standalone installers wouldn't initially be possible with the Galaxy client, but Destro's posts make it sound as if it already is. From your experience, is it?
I've downloaded standalone installers + extras with Galaxy several times already so the answer is "yes". Additionally they appear to be the exact same files you get via GOG Downloader or the website also.

HypersomniacLive: Are you allowed to share a screenshot or at least describe how the part I highlighted looks like? I wonder how much of the revamp of the site to the fresher, better GOG has anything to do with the interface of the client.
No, but anyone can sign up for the alpha and they're sending out batch invites very regularly now apparently so one can sign up and try it out themselves directly rather easily.

Today is Saturday, April 11, 2015.

The full unbundling has begun 26 days ago and has apparently not ended yet, leaving the library in a half-broken state (no update notifications, no links to game pages/forums for unbundled games, broken file links, even more product_bonuses, etc.).

A blue has not posted in this thread in the last 24 days (post #631, i.e. 818 posts ago).

GOG, to assist you:
- Here is the list of most of the issues raised in this thread. A few more issues have been raised after I had posted that list, but given your overwhelming response, I did not bother to collect them. I will gladly do so if you want me to.
- Here is the list of those you have already fixed, AFAIK.
Two Worlds 2 and Two Worlds 2 Castle defense are now unbundled, if any one cares and didn't already know.

It is very hard for me to actually read many of the subtitles on the game cards, e.g. the first Leisure Suit Larry game. On a related note, dealing with VGA versions of games by using the exact same game title and box art, except that you write (VGA) in small black letters on the game box art, is not a good solution.
We could start off by thanking the Academy, our moms, and hoping for world peace - and it's not that we don't want to say all those things, but before we do, we want to thank the most important people that made it possible - all of YOU.
So since we're so important to you, you're probably going to address our issues and complaints?

+1. Could not have said it better myself.
I don't have the time sift through all 74-odd pages on this thread; But is there any reason that the original Alone in the Dark isn't being split up into Alone in the Dark 1, 2 and 3?

Yep that deserves some +1

Aside from the fact that It's not being planned, there are, apparently, licensing reasons that make them unable to offer Alone in the Dark in any other way (hence why 2 and 3 are only available as bonus items, instead of being included in one installer as is the case with other formerly bundled games).

Cheers, in spite the bitter taste in my mouth, you got a few laughs out of me.

This is magnificent sir, please continue to do this.

In addition to making a point about customer service so strong that it's making me hesitant to continue to support GoG as strongly as I have up until this point, it's genuinely helpful. I've been periodically checking this thread to see if we've finally gotten any kind of engagement from the company, and being able to just see this tells me everything I need to know ("still freaking nothing") without having to sort through the other posts.

Interesting, by the way, that there have now been more posts on this subject than there have been posts in the Galaxy testing thread.
