Which games are keeping you company this weekend?

Whoa, it's the weekend already?! That means less time spent on meeting deadlines and more time spent on meeting our untimely virtual deaths! Or building stuff. Or solving puzzles. Or scoring goals. Or doing other cool stuff that our fleshy selves cannot (yet) accomplish.

So which games are keeping you busy these days?
Go on, share your Weekend Playlists with us. They can include single-player games, multiplayer games, console exclusives, anything - we are not judging. In fact, we are sharing too!

Looking for some inspiration, perhaps? The GOG.com releases of the week are here for you:

- You can hop around the enchanting, dimly-lit rooms of Lumo
- You can turn hordes of monsters into piles of sweet loot in Torchlight II
- You can revisit a recently updated galaxy and become the new Master of Orion
- You can slice, dodge, and jump your way to your queen in Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
- You can build unlikely machines that might or might not fly in SimplePlanes
- You can terrorize the streets as the uncontrollable OmniBus
- You can leave your mark in the architectural history of the world in Caesar™ IV

mecharma: Awwww guys, help groze out!
Um, I play video games so that I don't have to spend time with people. ;)
Darkest Dungeon looks fun game-play & Hard West seems XCOM 2012 done right.

This week, it's Guinness, Two worlds 2 and watching Turok 2 speed-run on hard, Chronowolf's controversial Omnibus dev twitch and the legendary Outstar/Pieman D:OS game :)

amund: I will be finishing up the Kathy Rain story then moving on to Shardlight. Also started Torchlight 2 so will play that to kill some time.

groze: Kathy Rain is an awesome game; way better than Shardlight, in my humble opinion. I finished Kathy Rain in one sitting, whereas I have yet to beat Shardlight, having started it when it came out. I think the story and setting in Shardlight just aren't as interesting and/or engrossing as I first thought they would be. It certainly is no Primordia, which still stands as the best Wadjet Eye-published game, to me.

I hope you'll enjoy Kathy Rain as much as I did. You will, if you have at least the slightest interest in Twin Peaks. :P
I think I'm near the end in Kathy Rain and it's really good, I'm a bit of a fan of David Lynch who directed Twin Peaks so could be why I like this game :) I only bought Shardlight because it's published by Wadjet Eye and still haven't played Promordia. Wadjet Eye publish some really nice games in my opinion.
Still Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition.

Already 87 hours into the game and still have a lot to go, I believe. Have at least a third of Luculla Forest left to explore and I expect there's at least one more region after that. Won't have much time to play this weekend, though, as we'll be doing a two-day road trip.

Have fun on the trip.
Overwatch.

That's it, I suspect.
I plan to play none of what GOG listed.

Instead, it's all about Thief Gold this weekend. Over on Racketboy.com, it's time for the Summer Classic Gaming challenge. I beat Turok: Dinosaur Hunter last week for it. Once Thief Gold is done, I may move on to System Shock, Mortal Kombat 3, Ultima II, or a variety of other titles. I tend to use the challenge to get through my old GOG backlog, which is...well, it's sizable.
This week I'll go with Classics: Age of Wonders and Descent 2.
Also, I'll play a bit of Crypt of the Necrodancer: I'm still stuck on zone 3.
Mine's gonna be a pretty wacky one, since I've been digging into these for the past 2 days so in my case it's a 4-day weekend (all hail corpus christi holidays ;P)

- Prisoner of Ice - it's mind bending puzzles are wrecking my soul (great plot and voice acting)
- Finish Pajama Sam 1 - LOVELY GAME ;P
- Game and Watch Gallery (gba on the WiiU) - did a casual run yesterday and will totally play some more in 5,6 hours
- Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager - finishing the rusky playthrough
- At least try some Rage of Mages on lan (this will be the thoughest one on this list)
- Win the last races on Screamer 2 and....

.... bring up my 10 page notes filled with crude information from FEAR EQUATION. Gotta tinker more and more. This game deserves way more recognition, folks. ;P

Cheers.
This weekend I'm taking a break from the Tex Murphy-series (I've finished Tesla Effect and Overseer so far). Instead I'm looking to try out Divinity Original Sin as a main course and PES 15 and a little Star Trek gaming as a side order. Should be an edible mix...
Well I'm busy working my way through the historical campaign in B-17 The Mighty Eighth and having lots of fun trying to limp home with badly damaged B-17s.

I'm also playing a game I'd love to see on GOG - the hugely underrated Fade to Black.

Almost forgot to mention that I have also just started playing The Walking Dead - Season 1 with my daughter.

gloombandit: Hard West seems XCOM 2012 done right.
I'm not sure I'd call Hard West "anything done right". The battles are not bad; everything else is sub-par, at least for me.
I didn't suffer playing it, but it's not what I'd call a good game.
I'm currently replaying Divinity 2
Divinity Original Sin EE Tactician - Already finished it in normal, wanted to try tactician. Died 3 times at the tutorial combat :D
Recently bought some visual novels on Steam, might play them as well :)
It's still The Settlers 2: Gold Edition for me, if I find the time. :-)
