We’re thrilled to announce the GOG Dreamlist!

This updated and improved version of the well-known Community Wishlist allows you to vote for the games you’d like to see on GOG. Your votes help us, our partners, and the rights holders understand which titles matter most to you.

Whether it’s a beloved game from your childhood or a title you’ve always wanted DRM-free, your votes guide our efforts to bring them to our platform—giving them a forever home in your library.

With the GOG Dreamlist, we’ve focused on improving the interface, consolidating threads for specific games, and providing more ways to discover and vote for new titles.

Each game on Dreamlist now has its own game card, featuring a detailed description, screenshots, and trailers. As passionate gamers ourselves, we know that every game carries a unique story. That’s why we’ve added a Stories section to the game cards, where you can share your memories, making your vote a powerful message of why these games matter.

We’ve also introduced enhanced browsing and filtering options, making it easier to find the next game you want to vote for and help bring to GOG.

As always, we welcome your feedback. We’re confident that GOG Dreamlist provides a better, more scalable tool to support further development and help us bring even more amazing games to our community.

With all that said we invite and ask you to explore the Dreamlist, cast your votes, and share your memories!
Hey all! We’ve been hard at work to make your GOG Dreamlist experience smoother, more intuitive, and simply more fun. We thought it'd be good to sum up the most important things that we've improved over the past few weeks.

Enhanced navigation

- Improved responsive pagination with automatic scroll-to-top when switching pages—saving you time.

- You can now search directly from a game card—less clicking, more voting!

Stay informed

- Real-time notifications when someone likes your story, or a new story is added to a game you follow. (We’re also working on a notification for when a game you voted for launches on the GOG store, which should come in handy soon)

- Stories now fully support special characters, and you can track upvotes on your own stories.

- View your stats section to see how many votes you’ve cast, games you’ve added, and to learn more about your activity.

- Check out other gamers’ profiles by clicking on their usernames to see who’s behind the stories and entries.

Streamlined filtering & sorting

- Active filters are now displayed as pills for better visibility.

- New quick-filter options and sorting by title or relevancy give your game catalog a fresh twist every visit.

- Easily filter games with or without user stories—and reset your selections in one click.

Discover your next favorite game

- The “I’m Feeling Lucky” button is available in both the hero section and on game cards—to jump into a random Dreamlist game instantly.

The work is, of course, not done yet, and we'll be adding new features and improvements.

GOG.com: As always, we welcome your feedback. We’re confident that GOG Dreamlist provides a better, more scalable tool to support further development and help us bring even more amazing games to our community.
If OK to ask: what is the weight(like, in percents) of the Community Wishlist/Dreamlist when sorting the GoG backlog? And how exactly you do it: votes, votes/age of entry, ..., gut feeling?

Inicus: ...

That is why I suggest a separate "remove vote" button. Or perhaps a confirmed dialog box, "Are you sure you want to remove your vote?" Just something to prevent this kind of user error.

Prah: Or you could just filter for showing "Only games I haven't voted for"
That is a great feature. However it doesn't address the problem I experienced:
Why would I think to filter by games I haven't voted for, if I thought it was a new wishlist that was unrelated to the existing Community Wishlist? (Because I excitedly clicked on the link without reading the news article) If it was a new list, as I had assumed it was, then there wouldn't be any votes from me in it, so there would be no point applying such a filter.

My basic point is simply that if I made that mistake, then other people probably did too, and as a consequence GOG may find that a lot of popular titles in the wishlist have inexeplicably lost a few votes with the release of the Dreamlist. (Or they may find that people who have voted for things in the Community Wishlist have inexplicably unvoted for things in the Dreamlist). And that would be sad - because these great games need all the votes they can get.

Please vote for Dead to Rights:
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/dead-to-rights-2002

I own a physical copy of it on PC, but it's unplayable on modern systems because of the DRM it uses.

There needs to be a mechanism for reporting redundant or already fulfilled entries. For example, Drakensang is already on GOG but not marked as released. https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/drakensang-the-dark-eye
The wishlist really needed an overhaul, but I wouldn't have dared to dream that it would turn out such beautiful. It looks incredibly pleasing!

I would love to have "A-Z", resp. "Z-A" filters.

How about cleaning the wishlist of Duplicate titles and editions first? There several cases: like standalone Mass Effect 1.2,3 listings and then there is also listing for Legendary edition (includes ME1, ME2, ME3+all DLCs)
or marking Deus Ex Human Revolution Directors cut as released, while the original edition of DXHR remains in wishlist...

lord_mendes: Just added "Squadron 42" and "Star Citizen". Please vote!

https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/squadron-42-2026

https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/star-citizen-2013

"Squadron 42" is a single-player game and has a good chance of being released on GOG. Unlike "Star Citizen", it already has a release date set for 2026.
I do like it when people make joke suggestions.

Wait a moment, you are quite serious, aren't you? [Video]

On topic. I don't like how much wasted space there is, nor the lack of filtration options to ensure the wishes are clearly specified. And a lot of these feel like they should already be clarified as to what GOG has done on the matter of obtaining them, if anything.

This also comes with the general buzzing flies of forced interaction including the marketing trash of "top", "trending", "hot", and all the other design notes that make me want to puke.

Anyways, off to make the marketing team bang their head against a post as I submit every obscure shareware game I can think of.

Edit: I see the feature, but it'd be nicer if that was higher and the indicator of voted vs not voted was more obvious.

Also, I found a duplicate. right here.

Addendum: Thaaat's not even the one I voted for; I meant Micropolis (Sim City), not Simcity 2013.

Do we really need the "share to deadname website" and "share to data harvest omnissiah" links?

Giuseppe87: Is anyone else getting an error when trying to leave a comment (story/memory, whatever it's called) on one of the games from the list? I tried to post something repeatedly, but I keep getting "An error has occurred. Please try again later."

Just trying to find out if it's something on my end (perhaps with the browser) or if it's general problem.
Same here. ;)
Too much people I suppose.

On another note, how the number of votes came from the old wishlist?
The game Reunion has only 70 votes:
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/reunion-1994 (please vote for it ;))
Even when there is four entries in the old wishlist with 818, 373, 366 and 225 votes.
And in the new dreamlist entry I had to add my vote altough I already did in the old ones.
(And for other bigger games, like Dune, my votes were already counted)

The updated Dreamlist looks great!

Here's hoping for Myth The Fallen Lords and other great oldies still missing eventually making it.

Kreeg: Wolfenstein (2009) and Wolfenstein RPG entries are messed up.

www.gog.com/wishlist/games/wolfenstein_rpg
www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/wolfenstein
www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/wolfenstein-rpg
Good find, it looks like Wolfenstein RPG got the votes that were intended for Wolfenstein 2009 and vice versa. I was wondering why Wolfenstein RPG had so many votes as it is a mobile game.

Yeah, my thoughts... Do Collections or Bundles need seperate entries? Does every possible Edition (Deluxe Edition, Limited Edition, Fandom Edition, Ultramegamax Edition,... etc...) of a game need an extra entry?

There are only entries for games, not for localizations, I guess... :-\

First impression of the Dreamlist... I have to agree with CarChris.

Further comments after I take a closer look at it and this thread over the weekend.
EA made two NfSMW games.
The first one in 2005, the second one (remake?) in 2012. So this might be deliberate...

Edit: removed the links, since this garbage forum SW butchers them completely -_-
