Since I love this whole series I'd want to collect it here since I trust GOG more than other sites for keeping my games over time. A new starting point would be a welcomed edition.
The Outer Worlds 2
The Outer Worlds 2
user avatar@tzar86
Why The Outer Worlds 2 Belongs on GOG I’m writing from the far‑flung reaches of the Halcyon colony, where my trusty ship still hums the familiar tunes of the original Outer Worlds. After countless hours of bartering with the Board, dodging corporate drones, and sipping synth‑coffee in the “Mothership” tavern, I’m ready for the sequel’s next chapter. Yet there’s a snag in my star‑map: The Outer Worlds 2 isn’t slated for GOG. GOG’s Reputation Aligns With My Values GOG has built a reputation for treating both developers and players fairly—DRM‑free releases, generous refund policies, and a community‑first ethos. As someone who values ownership of the games I buy, GOG feels like the natural home for a title that celebrates Spacer's Choice! The Microsoft‑Obsidian Factor However, with Microsoft’s acquisition of Obsidian certainly raises eyebrows. While the studio’s creative spirit remains intact, I worry about potential shifts toward platform exclusivity or tighter integration with Xbox services. By placing Outer Worlds 2 on GOG, Microsoft could demonstrate that they still respect the broader PC ecosystem, a win‑win for both the publisher and the community. A Small Request, A Big Impact I understand that licensing negotiations can be intricate, especially with a major corporation now involved. Still, I hope you’ll consider reaching out to Obsidian and Microsoft to explore a partnership that respects both the developer’s vision and GOG’s community values. Even a limited “GOG version” release—perhaps with exclusive bonus content or a special collector’s edition—could signal goodwill and set a precedent for future collaborations. Thank you for listening to a humble fan’s plea. May the stars guide The Outer Worlds 2 onto GOG’s shelves soon! With hopeful optimism, A devoted Halcyon Explorer

Honestly one of the best lesbian visual novels around. Comfy story, wholesome moments, and very believable, which can be rare in the medium. Simply wonderful to have in a medium dominated by male protagonists.

Just look at it! Beautiful artwork and that classic dungeon crawler vibe. Add on top that it is the legendary Raven Software's first ever title and it is criminal how difficult it is to play today. The fact it never recieved a release outside the Amiga is a modern day tragedy the heroes at GoG have the chance to correct!

While I enjoy the Director's Cut and it was my first experience with the game, in restropect some of the changes such as removing the gold filter and incorporating The Missing Link into the main story, are counterproductive to the experience. So it would be amazing if more players have the oportunity of playing the og version as it was intended.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

My first LEGO game was Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005). It's crazy to see how each LEGO game has evolved over time with the many IPs the team has touched. TT Games going back to it's earlier LEGO roots with Batman again is quite something. Introducing the arkham-esque combat to fit the legacy of Batman media was an interesting design decision to go with but I hope it works out in the end. Being able to traverse around the city using the batclaw to grapple while playing as LEGO minifigures will be super fun now. I hope WB Games (publisher) is willing to bring the rest of the LEGO games over to GOG as this is no exception. I also share @BigFitzPlays sentiments greatly.

I've played very little of Anthem and had planned to do so recently. The news that it's being pulled from stores is nonsense. The game should remain available, as I feel more players will gravitate to it.

This game is getting delisted. GOG can save this game from being lost forever. All we need is other people who want this game back. So many people will be able to experience this game with GOGs help. Save John Wick Hex!

TLS is genuinely one of the most well-written and ambitious games I've ever played. It attempts to bring an entire world to life, with characters from all walks of life and give them both agency and permanence in the story. Rarely will you find this level of writing in any game. Furthermore, the attempt at ruling your lands is an endeavor I had not seen in any other game. The way it combines RPG with ruling simulation creates a very unique gameplay and story experience that meshes extremely well with the writing.

Red Candle games delivered two games that I liked very much on Steam, Detention and 9 Sols. Both are interesting takes on their genre, and I am sure anyone making political assumptions on Red Candle studio definitely did not play Detention (or purposefuly completely ignored the game's story). I do not understand why Devotion is still not available to purchase on GoG (or anywhere else besides developer's website, for what it matters), given the current record of quality for Red Candle's games.

I spent hours on this game. The mafia vibe, the mix of action and strategy, the management mechanics... it was wild. And yet, almost no one remembers it. This game was so underrated. It truly deserves a comeback on GOG. Seriously.

grossly underappreciated gem of a game. its a crime its not more well known, and doubly so that its actual sequel got canned. :/ as for what else to say; manages to achieve emotional impact while being knee deep in the era where G4TV was the gold standard of gamer culture. yea.

According to the developer, the delisting was due to a DMCA claim rather than the payment processors (which, of course, creates its own problems for preservation): 'Thank you for your attention and support for TOI. After communicating with our publisher and Steam, we have learned that TOI has been temporarily taken down due to a DMCA claim. Currently, we are in negotiations to resolve this issue. Please wait patiently for further updates.'

I remember playing this game freshly after finishing Crysis 2. The story took place after 20 years of Crysis 2 and when the game booted and I stepped into the shoes of Prophet it was an amazing feeling. I loved how the gameplay had stayed the same but also evolved at the same time making it feel fresh even if it was most of the same things I was doing, apart from totally brand new things. The suit was even more accessible and the upgrades made the player a total machine freak! I loved how the ending came together and ended right where the first game began! Such fun times playing this game! More people need to experience this game!
Asura's Wrath
Asura's Wrath
user avatar@SorainRavenshaw
One of the greatest narratives in videogaming is becoming lost, with it's true ending practically impossible to play out legitimately. All because of decisions by the publisher that are both terrible and noble when an ambitious project failed to make the splash they wanted it to. Any preservation must include the True Ending DLC, in part because of how that came to exist and in part because it's one of the greatest stories ever told with that, just a memorable one without it. Asura's Wrath is jaw-dropping in scope and scale, built on timeless storytelling techniques and simple themes that are universal. It's gameplay is unique, a style that only went on to be used in licensed games that would be far harder to preserve because of that. (Naruto is not cheap.) CyberConnect2's grand opus, Asura's Wrath deserves preservation and the only ones willing to do it right are GOG. Or so I hope, because otherwise how will future generations know it? Asura's Wrath stands as a testament that simple gameplay can be elevated with a little bit of outside the box design and a strong story. To be specific, the entire 'Burst' system enforces a narrative flow to gameplay naturally, making every over the top, absurd and near impossible to implement even today action sequence feel earned by the player. It's a gameplay implementation of proper dramatic build up of tension and release that could only be found in the licensed games the developer worked on outside of this one game and frankly? It's much easier to preserve this, than to negotiate the rights to those games.
Dead or Alive 4
Dead or Alive 4
user avatar@MITSUO_1988
Dead or Alive 4 is pound for pound the uncontested peak of the series. It's Itagaki-Sensei at the height of his powers and back when it was released, it was almost like looking into the future! From its memorable and wild stages (the Mugen Tenshin bridge and the Crash Club being clear standouts), solid music, finely tuned mechanics, impressive visuals, a legit challenging story-mode that's both compelling and frustrating in equal measure (thanks Alpha-152... -_-') and an online mode that many fighting games are still trying to catch up to a whole two decades after its release, DOA4 feels like Team Ninja's creative peak following Ninja Gaiden Black. And that's not counting Aerosmith's 'Amazing' playing at the end credits, an ending that got out emotions I never knew I had. This game was on top of the world back in the day and I feel it deserves to be preserved. It has hardly dated and an updated PC port with improved online play would be perfect. This game deserves it's long overdue comeback.

I have played and followed this AVN since it was being created. I love the game and the DND type of layout. The story rocks and you will be non stop intrigued at the fantasy wrote. The scenes are fun and good. Your choices matter and you can go different routes for multiple play through.

It's silly that they are withholding the last in the series from GOG when every other season game has been released here. I keep emailing them once a year asking when the remaster will be released on GOG. Maybe if everyone else does the same they will realise there is a demand for this game. Write them: hello (at) skunkapegames.com

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

The game was released to start off the 15th anniversary of the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. For a short while, the Microsoft Xbox version of the game was released with a free Sonic X DVD. This game introduces five new playable characters, the Babylon Rogues and the E-10000 series. A sequel to Sonic Riders, entitled Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, was released in 2008 for the Wii and PlayStation 2, followed by the Kinect-required game Sonic Free Riders for the Xbox 360 in 2010. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity
Sonic Riders: Zero GravitySonic Riders: Zero Gravity is a hoverboard racing video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the PlayStation 2 and Wii. It is the fifth racing game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the second entry the Sonic Riders trilogy. A port for the Xbox 360 was cancelled during development, while a sequel, Sonic Free Riders, was released exclusively for that system in 2010. Gameplay in Zero Gravity is largely similar to its predecessor, with characters racing on different types of hovercraft called "Extreme Gear". In addition to the mechanics from the previous game, Zero Gravity adds a new gameplay system based around gravity that replaces the predecessor's "fuel" system. During the race, performing tricks and other actions will increase a character's Gravity Points, or GP. If players have accrued enough GP by the time they enter certain areas of the track, they will enter a Zero-Gravity Zone, where they can perform one of two maneuvers. A Gravity Dive will create a small black hole that points gravity forward down the track, giving the player a powerful free-fall boost that is further augmented by striking objects in the vicinity that the hole displaces, such as cars or signs. Alternatively, Gravity Control will alter the gravity of the course, allowing players to reach otherwise-inaccessible areas and shortcuts. Players can also use Gravity Drift to more easily maneuver around sharp corners.

Resident Evil
Resident EvilThe hugely popular Resident Evil series, having sold over 61 million units to date, returns to its roots with a remastered version of the critically acclaimed masterpiece, Resident Evil. Originally released in 1996, Resident Evil was then “remade” in 2002 from the ground up with new visuals, gameplay elements, environments and story details while retaining the survival horror atmosphere the series had become synonymous for. Both fans of the franchise who want a trip down memory lane and those who have yet to experience the game that coined the term survival horror for the gaming world will appreciate this definitive re-visit of that iconic 2002 Resident Evil title. The intense horror fans first experienced with the release of the original Resident Evil is back. Taking place in the now notorious Raccoon City, players will choose to take on the role of either S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) team member Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine, who have been sent into the city to find the missing Bravo team. When the team is suddenly attacked by a ferocious group of mutated dogs, desperate for an escape they take shelter in the Mansion, but will they ever get out alive again? Players will need to be brave as they adventure through the dark, enclosed spaces searching out the horrors that await them. With limited ammo and survival items available gamers will need to keep their wits about them to survive the various traps and puzzles that greet them at every stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dream list with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
