We’re thrilled to announce the GOG Dreamlist!

This updated and improved version of the well-known Community Wishlist allows you to vote for the games you’d like to see on GOG. Your votes help us, our partners, and the rights holders understand which titles matter most to you.

Whether it’s a beloved game from your childhood or a title you’ve always wanted DRM-free, your votes guide our efforts to bring them to our platform—giving them a forever home in your library.

With the GOG Dreamlist, we’ve focused on improving the interface, consolidating threads for specific games, and providing more ways to discover and vote for new titles.

Each game on Dreamlist now has its own game card, featuring a detailed description, screenshots, and trailers. As passionate gamers ourselves, we know that every game carries a unique story. That’s why we’ve added a Stories section to the game cards, where you can share your memories, making your vote a powerful message of why these games matter.

We’ve also introduced enhanced browsing and filtering options, making it easier to find the next game you want to vote for and help bring to GOG.

As always, we welcome your feedback. We’re confident that GOG Dreamlist provides a better, more scalable tool to support further development and help us bring even more amazing games to our community.

With all that said we invite and ask you to explore the Dreamlist, cast your votes, and share your memories!
Hey all! We’ve been hard at work to make your GOG Dreamlist experience smoother, more intuitive, and simply more fun. We thought it'd be good to sum up the most important things that we've improved over the past few weeks.

Enhanced navigation

- Improved responsive pagination with automatic scroll-to-top when switching pages—saving you time.

- You can now search directly from a game card—less clicking, more voting!

Stay informed

- Real-time notifications when someone likes your story, or a new story is added to a game you follow. (We’re also working on a notification for when a game you voted for launches on the GOG store, which should come in handy soon)

- Stories now fully support special characters, and you can track upvotes on your own stories.

- View your stats section to see how many votes you’ve cast, games you’ve added, and to learn more about your activity.

- Check out other gamers’ profiles by clicking on their usernames to see who’s behind the stories and entries.

Streamlined filtering & sorting

- Active filters are now displayed as pills for better visibility.

- New quick-filter options and sorting by title or relevancy give your game catalog a fresh twist every visit.

- Easily filter games with or without user stories—and reset your selections in one click.

Discover your next favorite game

- The “I’m Feeling Lucky” button is available in both the hero section and on game cards—to jump into a random Dreamlist game instantly.

The work is, of course, not done yet, and we'll be adding new features and improvements.

very good dream list
Please vote for Beyond Citadel. Thank you!

We already have the prequel here.

https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/beyond-citadel
Vote for Silent Hill games please. 1-3 are classics that deserve to be in easy access and preserved. Also Homecoming despite it's flaws also needs to be fixed. I doubt that we'll see ports of console exclusive games like Origins, Shattered Memories and Downpour but one can hope.
despite the complains by some, i do like the new format and really hope the publishers note it and the list helps to bring the games to GOG.

also in this thread there are some good suggestions to be implemented in the ux, hope the team behind it take in consideration.
Is anyone else getting an error when trying to leave a comment (story/memory, whatever it's called) on one of the games from the list? I tried to post something repeatedly, but I keep getting "An error has occurred. Please try again later."

Just trying to find out if it's something on my end (perhaps with the browser) or if it's general problem.

Great, I like this new and improved wishlist. There's more info about each game (it's especially nice to have cover and screenshots), and everything seems to be better organized. I especially like the ability to see the games you've voted for and to remove the vote if you so wish, plus the fact that entries are picked from a database, which should help preventing duplicates.
That said, you can still have duplicates if a game has more than one entry in the database, perhaps under slightly different titles. I have already found a few instances, but unfortunately there's no way to report them, at least for the time being.
I'm less happy about the visuals. I'll second what has already been said by others before me: I find the interface too big and spread out, I would prefer a more compact look, especially having the search box and game list near the top of the page rather than at the middle, with all that stuff in between. Also,

Splatsch: when we are browsing the list of games in the store, add the number of the current page and the possibility to go to next/previous/number of page on top of the wishlist in addition to the bottom of the wishlist. Right now, if you scroll from down to top, you have to scroll again downward to be able to change the page. It's noticeable especially because it seems that for now, when you click on another page with the arrows or number of pages at bottom, you stay down on the page and have to scroll upward to see wishes (not an issue if there was the changing page buttons on top).

Cavalary: Plus, yes, alphabetic sorting is needed.
Here's hoping that this new "Dreamlist" proves an effective tool in securing more great releases, old and new.

idbeholdME: Wondering what database GOG is using for adding games to the list. Because so far, I haven't encountered a game it didn't know, even when I was drawing from my "obscure" pile.
I'm curious, too. Well, I did manage to find some games that aren't on the database... too obscure, I guess? But at least one of them surely isn't: Hexen II: Portal Of Praevus. Maybe it's because it's a mission pack.

FulVal85: I can't add Hexen II Portal Of Praevus for some reasons
I submitted a request to add it to the database. I hope they do.

binteon: The game Quarantine has the wrong picture and description. This should be a 1994 TAXI driving game. But shown is a 2017 pandemic management strategy game.
There are two games titled "Quarantine". This is the one you're looking for: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/quarantine-1994
Looks like entries with less than 1000(?) accumulated votes have not been migrated from the community wishlist and will have to be re-added again, unfortunately.

The cut-off point seems to be lower actually, around the 900-800 mark, possibly maybe?

yes... then replace the forum software after...

adikad13000: Unless they prevented people to duplicate the same entry 103215625645421612 times, it will be worse. If they did, than this is a very welcome, badly needed upgrade.
avatar
mdqp: It's much harder to create duplicates:
There is a database of games which provides a synopsis and some screenshots of the game and you can only pick entries from the database, however it's still possible in some cases (whenever the database lists mupltiple editions of the same game, for example).

It's also more difficult to create duplicates accidentally (as you type the name, you get a list of entries which match your search, and if there are multiple versions, you'll see them all listed, and the ones already on the wishlist are marked as such).
Glad to hear this! Also, this proves that this site is full of crazy individuals, I do not want to point fingers on people, but saying this is worse then what we had to deal with is insane. This is exactly what this whislist needed in my opinion. They did not even needed to add any of the fluff features, they just needed to get rid of duplicate entries.

Nutty_the_Squirrel: yes... then replace the forum software after...
Judging by how every redesign on GOG has gone, including this one at least in terms of looks, please don't.
A crime, that this Persona 5 like JRPG, made by the ex Persona team, has only so few votes. One of the best JRPGs in the last 5 years. This deserves a GOG release as well. More votes here would be awesome :-)

Looks like they added the entry since my post. Problem is the 2017 game got all the votes from the 1997 game (and the name of wishlist creator). It appears on top of the list (due to sorting by score) which may lead to some erroneous votes in the future.

https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/quarantine
The Shellshock (1996) game lost a lot of votes as well. It's supposed to have almost 450 votes, but for some reason the dreamlist version only has around 3 votes.

Darklight Conflict used to have over 400 votes, but the dreamlist only has around 7 votes.
