I agree. No lynch would be worse than a mis-lynch. Scum will probably go for the confirmed players so any insecurity concerning us unconfirmed will remain. So we need to lynch to either get scum or narrow down the pool.

Pros and cons:

Consul: low activity. May be due to RL but may also be convenient to hide. Some LAMIST moments. Could be scum trying to stay inconspicuous. No Town-vibes but no strong scum-vibes either.

Joppo: seems to be scum hunting. Town vibes. But would be capable of faking it. Target selection is very unfortunate or intentionally useless.

Pooka: felt scummy on and off throughout the game. Can only be scum if he is ninja. Miller- claim would be a relatively safe claim for scum.
I was hoping we'd have until at least Monday. OK, let's hurry up:

@everybody (especially Lift): doesn't it bother you that, in order for someone to stop last night's kill, one of the remaining town players must have lied about their claim? Where's "lynch all liars" now?

Regarding Joppo: the big problem with him is that, with no other (claimed?) town power roles left, there's no way to test his role, and it's too late anyway. If he lives until tomorrow and tracks the last mafia, we'd still need to blindly trust him. All his results were on people who had claimed no power or had their powers used, so easy to fake. However, with the current consensus that their is only one mafia left, it's not urgent that he is the first lynch (regarding my "probabilities" theory).

Regarding Lift: I've suspected him since Day 1, no secret in that, bur now's the first time that enough people might vote for him. He was regarded as "leaning town" by some based on past games, but have no way to cross-check that. He has shown big efforts in scum-hunting but also seems very zealous, starting with "lynch all liars" over a joke, even after agent had claimed. He's prone to start bandwagons and then chanting hia vote, pursuing the new target with equal passion. He keeps denouncing my supposed "lurking", which was what got Flocke mislynched. He even had to admit that there was not much against me other than that and apparently bwing too effusive in celebrating the superlucky night. On the other hand, we both claimed vanilla townie so he might feel we are "competing" for the same niche.

Regarding Pooka: I cleared him too soon, since he could be a ninja. However, he took a totally unnecessary risk after his miller claim had been more or less accepted, by confessing he had a one-shot ability (which he shouldn't had ommitted in the first place). Why risk it? I see him as the less likely to be scum.

I would happily vote for either Joppo or Lift.

I'm afraid the sudden deadline might take Micro or agent by surprise and not realize we're in a hurry...

In this case, it bought us another kill-less night. Whoever did that gets a thumbs-up from me.

I'm here. I'm voting.

Would switch to Consul to avoid no-lynch. Pooka is my third choice, but I'm less keen on lynching him.
Ouch this is worrisome. I'm afraid Caesar is right and EoD... I mean EoGCP will arrive before we have time to react and reach some consensus on who to lynch.

I'm really not even sure what to think of Lift anymore. As soon as I'm close to saying "Yup, Lift gotta be it" he comes out and posts something that looks town through and through. And then later as I lean him town he posts something that appears to be throwing shade just to keep us in our toes.

As for Caesar, he has been more consistent. Consistenly leaning scum, I mean; but not as far as Lift when Lift swings to his extreme. Lift is right that he asked a lot of questions about the setup; and he only started commenting on the scumminess of the players recently. On one hand I could see it as a newbie wanting to learn whatever strategies the "battlefield" makes more efficient to each faction. On the other hand he is self proclaimed experienced with Mafia elsewhere and shouldn't need to spend so much time learning the setup. The fact he does makes me think he's attempting to make us derpclear him.

As for Pooka, while softcleared (except if ninja), he kinda slowed down his post frequency a lot after being mostly cleared. Most probably due to IRL, unfortunately. He brought up sensible stuff, even if I particularly didn't enjoy being their latest focus. I want to read more of his posts.

This is external to the game, but since this is the second time this comes up: if you re-read my signup post, you'll see that I said I had played before, not that I was experienced. It was years ago and a totally different style (for starters, I had never played a Day start, or heard of a ninja, neighborizer or innocent child).
Just to complete what was missing from my previous post, I'm really divided between Lift and Caesar. Right now I think I'd vote Lift, because when scum he is known to be dangerously good at driving myslynches. He's also skilled in dodging even when he is the main suspect. But even that reflects on the uncertainty of what to expect of Caesar.

Damn. This has been more confusing the more I think. At least I think the scum must be fairly skilled to hide so well even in this small player pool. Which once again brings me to suspect Lift more than Caesar.

Votus Lift

At least to ensure my vote is somewhere before the day is over. Even if I just can't say I'm sure it's the right decision.
@Consul: as discussed before, lynch all liars only makes sense if there are proven liars. So asking to lynch the one who lied about his claim is kind of pointless, unless you know who that was. Also there are a few exonerating circumstances in which a lie may be excusable. Usually I am very reluctant to excuse lying (and I don't like lying as "joke" at all), but again, the decision how to deal with this specific lie would only be possible if we knew who it was. Otherwise this call to lynch all liars is kind of empty.

I am still torn between Joppo and Consul. Strategically I should vote joppo. But the last posts from him feel quite towny. So at the moment I would like to give him one more chance to do something useful with his tracking, just in case he's actually a town tracker. So...

Suspicio ConsulCaesar
It's almost a coin toss, but I am slightly more in favor of...

Well yes, it's IRL. That and there's nothing to discuss really apart from who of the Lift-Joppo-Consul circle to lynch Today. There's absolutely zero explanation for why the nightkill would be skipped and I believe that was going to be a great lead on whatever happened.

Today I will lynch...hmmm...yes, Lift.

If we assume one scum and mislynches, then:

Day 5: 5 Town and 1 Scum
Day 6: 3 Town and 1 Scum

Hmmmmmmmmmmst. There wouldn't be a Day 7 like that. So unfortunately we have to settle on someone NOT to lynch. Lift, Consul and Joppo are all equally tempting. But:

- Lift is very good at pretending to be Town all the way
- Joppo if left alive can claim someone is the last scum and have us mislynch that someone, HSL-style.
- Consul is mostly an issue with how certain or uncertain he is.

I'm settling on Lift now. Was teetering on voting Joppo but Lift is more tempting because he's the kind of guy who can appear as Town as possible and yet laugh all the way to Mafia victory. If that doesn't work, then Joppo tomorrow. Or Consul, depending on how the Day goes. The real problem is, we're now out of mechanical leads outside of the ones from Joppo, so we have to resort to traditional scumhunting! Just ask Trent and Flocke how well that went.

At this point, it's coming down to a coin toss. Either we get scum and win, or we get town and lose.
Ok. My last post for today. Consul seems to be going nowhere and I'm not going to vote myself. I know I'm Town but Joppo still has a good chance of being scum. So I have to

abracadabra Joppo

Now you all can decide whom of us two to hammer.
