OK, is it realistic to expect someone would like to give up AER - MotO, Night in the Woods WAE, or Tangledeep for Testament of Sherlock Holmes? I have this code I really don't want, and I wanted to trade, but how long do I have to wait for someone to show up with codes of AER, NitW, or Tangledeep?

RWarehall: Why would anyone? Given that the cheapest Mount & Blade: Warband has ever sold for here is $4.99 ($3.99 bundled) and that the regional price loophole has been closed for more than a year. But somehow G2A has a user selling keys for that game at $1.55...

Then if you check his profile, tons of his keys for that game are invalid (not surprising). I couldn't find one sold that even received a positive; found 7 that were no good in his negative ratings.

Have you even checked to see if the code works?

Not to go into the idea that Mount & Blade Warband has never been bundled for Steam, so it's not like anyone will have extra codes for it just laying around. Instead, to trade you, you are asking them to pay $3.92 for a Steam key (best current sale price according to ITAD) to trade you, that you likely bought for $1.55.

Why would anyone want to do that?

My suggestion for you is to check the key here. Find out it is no good. Then see if you can get a refund from G2A. (Good luck!)

Well, it's not realistic and I'll explain why. When you offer a trade you take into account the best sale price of a game. Your game is older and was available for much cheaper than the games you are asking for, which are very new. To get an idea of their values, have a look at the price history on steam

You can check the code without redeeming it here unlike Steam. A bad code would be more ammunition in your fight with G2A support in seeking a refund.

This is a bit off-topic, but I'm sure the folks reading this thread will know - is there a list somewhere of the games available on gog that uses Unity, especially version whatever or newer that is not at all compatible with Vista? I suspect I need to cut my wishlist...

I'm not familiar with Unity and can't help you with your problems about Unity and Vista, but I've found this GOGmix.

Ta, that's more or less what I was looking for, and it seems to confirm my suspicion that I'd need to discover the "break-point" for the "bad" version of Unity - most of the games that I have on that gog mix works just fine on my PC, but Starcrawlers does not want to run. I am awaiting feedback from Support, but I expect they are currently enjoying their well-earned New Year's break.
