An event like this happens only once a year – our Anniversary!

We’ve been here for 17 years; that’s quite a lot of time of making games live forever! For this occasion, we prepared something special: even though it’s our birthday, you’re the one getting gifts. Visit our store every day for a surprise!

And of course, here’s some of the deals:
Cyberpunk 2077 (-65%)
Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition (-60%)
Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete (-50%)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (-80%)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition (-35%)
Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition (-25%)
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon (-10%)

…and more!

Anniversary ends on October 7th, 7 AM UTC. Check it out!

amok: No, it is because the quiz askes if the illness is called "Invisible Man Syndrom", and that is not the name of the illness :)

So this question is correct.

DodoGeo: I would disagree, why is then Jelly Bones a correct answer when there is no disease called that, the closest is called Jellyitis in game?

That is even more nit picky than Invisible man and Invisible man Syndrome
Because "Jelly Bones" is incorrect, so that is wrong. However "Invisible man syndrom" is not wrong. The question is obviuosly flawed, but you have the wrong incorrect answer.

Correct that Jelly Bones isn't a listed disease. It's Jellyitis. But "Invisible man" is actually just "Invisibility".

My real beef is the last question.

Like the earlier posts mentioned the quiz has errors. One can recruit Edwin in BG2 SoA. It can be done when doing Thives Guild quests. Ones concerning Mae'Var if memory serves.

Iohannis42: It's a rare opportunity to have Early Access to a game, let alone several at once.

SultanOfSuave: A rare opportunity that comes around quicker than each lunar cycle!
But this COULD be the very last chance...

Quiz: As a tip: The last question is not looking for civilization, but rather a person belonging to it.

It was worded badly.

Why bother posting mistakes? The same mistakes were on the same questions the last time they ran this quiz and they didn't get fixed then nor will they now.

But yes, i do enjoy the irony of creating a quiz to test peoples knowledge on classical games, and then getting several questions wrong themselves

And it being a company that sells "good old games". "How do you do, fellow gamers?" energy, at that.

A quiz AND it's borked? This just keeps getting better XD

Really, it's amazing to me how GOG sabotages itself. They didn't have to announce 13 surprises. They could have just released Expedition and the two Tomb Raiders and everyone would have said "yay, GOG, great job" and that would have been it. A clear win. Instead they make up an event that serves no other purpose than making them look like "GOG - the disappointing store". Truly snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.

foad01: GOG is giving a game away for free during a sale.

People here: HOW DARE YOU GIVE THIS GAME AWAY FOR FREE! IT'S SHIT!

GOG is not giving a game away for free during a sale.

People here: THIS SALE IS A JOKE! GOG IS DYING!

:D
Did they actually give a game away for free? I did not even see one mentioned or posted for free. What was the title of it?

Dude was enacting a scenario. He wasn't announcing that there was anything free.
