Not every problem can be handled with fists.
In this case the best way of handling things is to sit back and let the devs work. You voiced your concern. Now let them work on it. And don't think too much about your rep. It's just pixels. Everybody who needs to know who you are, does so.
Or do you only help because of some imaginary points? Would you not help otherwise?

Whenever a alt or a scammer gets butt hurt and he cant do any harm to you then he simply start you to down rep.

You can either fight with situation or quit.

And yeah rep system needs modification (which ain't gonna happen).
Well,maybe if enough people done the same as me (who knows) they
can't just sit on their hands all day doing nothing.
They need people to come here,not lose them because of some stupid
idiotic system in place.
They need to put some of that money back into the forum and look after
the people that keep this place humming.

Yes,I would help anyone and as previous it's easy to say.
I don't settle all disputes with my fists all the time,but
actually try and talk my way out of it but sometimes.....

Being an opposing thinker is always going to be a curse no matter what forum you join, its never greener on the other side of the fence. Most importantly the GOG forum has nothing at all to do with what GOG's actual function is: to sell games to you !. Think of GOG 'the webstore' and GOG 'the Forum' as two separate entities, that's what they are.

So quitting GOG simply because of the forum is not a good solution. After all the only thing we have in common as gamers is that we all happen to play video games. The very idea of a "brotherhood" or "community" is naivety and fallacy, because ultimately we are all strangers destined to become assholes,. That's what the whole process of "gaming community engagement" eventually leads to, its an asshole factory. To survive you have to become an asshole.

Keep your account and simply take a break from the forum, or ignore it altogether. I really think you'll regret deleting your account later on. The only alternative around is Humble Bundle, but they don't sell as many DRM-free games and hardly have any classics.
