Upbringing is a weak excuse for adults though (assuming you are one). I know it's easier said than done, but if you realize aspects of your upbringing are toxic for your wellbeing, you need to try and free yourself from that kind of thinking. In the end it's only you who's hurt by it; most people don't give a shit about your pride, and the trolls revel in your righteous anger. Besides, there are worthier fights than those with random people on the internet.

I don't think anybody knows why he left, at least not outside of GOG. I suspect that it had something to do with all those times when the management set fires and then made him put them out. It was over really stupid stuff that they should have seen coming too.

Then again, that's purely speculation, he might have been tired of Poland or gotten a better job offer. But, it can't have been good for his reputation as a PR guy to work someplace with so many issues.
