ciemnogrodzianin: I haven't participated too. From what I've heard it was totally different. One offer at a time. Limited quantity (counter). It was less predictable, because some games with great discounts were sold out very quickly. You also never know when a current offer ends and a new offer starts. F5 was your friend, sleep was your enemy ;)
Correct me, please, if you remember this format and you see that I am wrong in something.
And some game(s) were so unpopular so they lasts for hours and hours.

That's also my guess, especially that there is also something like Cyber Monday. I suppose they'll break usual schedule a bit and will release something lasting from Friday to Monday/Tuesday.

Wasn't there a leak with the upcoming STEAM sales? I think they were two of them... Here it is on pcgamer: https://www.pcgamer.com/steam-sale-dates-have-leaked-again/

Halloween Sale: October 28–November 1
Autumn Sale: November 26–December 3
Winter Sale: December 19–January 2

I'd imagine GOG to try and undercut STEAM, so we may see a black friday sale themed week-end/next week.
