That's not exactly true. Lift joined the wagon and the push towards Carradice but it was originally ZFR's initiative, not Lift's.

Carradice was role cop. EOD1 Lift was voting for him, nobody has role claimed, if you're scum role cop, who do you check? Why not the guy voting for you?

And I guess my impression was that Lift was pretty key is getting carradice lynched... *given that he was the only one voting for carradice EOD1 instead of lynching the townie* and then continued that case into Day 2

That doesn't mean Lift was the only guy who gets credit

But the above is a pretty good argument for the pelt

I'm not sure what I can do for myself here. For reasons I'll discuss later, I probably shouldn't have accepted the sub in, and obviously I haven't done my best at all here... but I'd highly encourage you to re-read my work Day 3.

I'm actually trying to emulate a player I know on MU called "Quick_Ben" that has a certain style... he frequently plays without tons of time to read every post in a game, and when he's Town, he just slices through the BS and analyzes vote counts and night actions targets and looks for who's acting like a Townie should act and who isn't. If you can't come up with a completely plausible reasons why you used your action the way you did, bang, he votes you and skips town. No pun intended.

Micro's vote record is terrible and his night actions don't make sense.

So? Why shouldn't a scum role cop take an interest in a player who votes him? I can't follow your logic here. I mostly mentioned that possibility because Carradice said that he'd investigated me. Of course he was scum and so might have been lying. It doesn't really matter anyhow, since it is speculation. Unless, of course, you want to share whom Carradice investigated? ;-)

I'm not trying to take his credit from being on that wagon away, I'm just pointing out that he wasn't the only and main driving force behind it like you mentioned.

That aside, sorry but I still don't get what this has to do with price of eggs. Is your point that Lift is so obviously Town that Town!Micro's track would have been clearly wasted on him so there is no way Micro is telling the truth about that?

What I'm saying is if you're a scum tracker needing to fake some claims, you've got to be able to have plausible deniability.

If you've been role-copped as something that doesn't move, you're a safe tracker target claim.

All this aside aside, one of my biggest issues right now is that in no case I can place 2 remaining scum together. Obviously they can be doing a great job but I'm also starting to wonder if there is in fact three of them left. Considering they had one unrestricted investigative role, how much is an always-on scum chat worth?

Well, seems unlikely, especially given that the one scum flip we have is "role cop" in what seems to be a role-light sort of game. But even if it's so, it's not relevant, really. You'd only know if you kept killing townies and the game kept going.
