Lifthrasil: @dedo: Joe is actually right. It is questionable, why you tried to paint my valid theory as 'planting the seed of doubt'. If you knew that Carradice will indeed flip scum, this pre-emptive de-validation of a theoretized connection between you would make sense. If you are Town, however, you have to agree that it is a theory we have to keep in mind. As we discussed, if Carradice is scum, then he wasn't participating in a scum day-chat. A day-chat is a significant balancing factor in any game setup that features it. Therefore, it is entirely reasonable to assume that any scumbuddy of a possible scum!Carradice would try to find a way to tell Carradice to finally read his PM and move his butt to the day-chat. ... You, trying to turn a valid thought into a 'seed of doubt' looks strange.
I never said it's not a valid theory that can come from a Town player. As I said I was expecting people to bring it up and I was actually a bit surprised that you were pretty much the only one who said anything in that regard. On the other I was also not surprised it was you who brought it up. This isn't an automatic scum accusation, you don't need me to tell you that you are capable enough to spot such things as point them out as Town if truly scumhunting. But tell me and please be honest, if you were scum and you knew I was Town would you not try to make that same observation to see if others won't agree to build up on it? After all, it is a plausible Town theory so it can't really hurt that much to try. It would work even better in a scenario where Carradice is your scumbuddy and you are preparing for the scenario where they screwed themselves beyond the point of no return and are likely going to flip. In which case there are grounds for potential instant trade-off with myself as I was stupid enough to defend the game and players on a low level.

Consider all of the above is happening after our last game together. You remember what happened then, right? Taking all of that into account do you still think I'm being unreasonable here to have at least some suspicion about your intentions?

Bottom line, I don't expect to not be scrutinized further in case Carradice does flip scum as I took that risk by defending them but I also hope that wouldn't be the sole basis on any potential conviction. To be honest that's one of the things I hate most about these games in general - sometimes it's so much easier and safer to just STFU about something instead of saying anything but I'd rather get flak for it and do what I can to correct it rather then accept something that messes with the game and players on a basic level.
So bragging rights: Lift, ZFR and microfish.

Yes, I do believe it's possible that microfish has played me. Not putting particular stock in it yet, but Joe's #394 plus some pings of my own definitely moved him away from my town core.

avatar
JoeSapphire: Is rolefishing something I've ever done as scum? It seems so vulgar.
Which would be a great reason for your scumbuddies to ask you in daychat to do some now, right? And you did mention how you're not playing at all like your usual self.

gogtrial34987: - "Lack of his trademark reads list" (which I believe you should know he does most games, and which in #55 when he was lovers with me, he commented to me about in our private chat "think Joe, what do you usually do? Oh yes, a read's list"),
avatar
JoeSapphire: do you find the fact that the reason I did it that time was because I pushed myself, and the reason I pushed myself is because I was scum suggestive?
0:)
Sorry, no. I find it suggestive that you had to push yourself at all when scum.

avatar
Microfish_1: All I've gotten from you are scum vibes.
When did these scum vibes start?

avatar
Vitek: I did quick skim through #55 to remind myself of the time I last played with Joe and now I decided he and gogtrial are necessary policy lynches. Man, I was bad in that game but the way they made a fool of me still makes me cringe. They need to die.
avatar
JoeSapphire: - gogtrial : only ever town, the wanker
@Flocke: FWIW, these are what I would personally call buddying. I feel all positive toward Vitek and Joe now for this praise.
Still have to reread Lift, btw, and that really will be this evening. I'll note explicitly when I've done so, and give clearer reasons for my vote (or move it somewhere else).
avatar
Vitek: What opinion have you given except of stating your mild willingness to lynch Carradice?
I wouldn't even call it a mild willingness, but I feel like it was at least explained enough.

Would also support a Joe lynch, but only because he's been above-the-average-level-of-mean. Maybe it's AI? Iunno.

It's all flimsy, there's nothing I feel strongly about at all.
avatar
Vitek: Get lost.
Not while I'm still listed as playing.

Pookina: 03. SirPrimalform/SirMrFailRomp (Belal al Nawar)
Hmmm. Belal was acting a little bit strange. Aybak noticed at times, his mannerisms just straight up change without an explanation. He'd go like "Yo, I ain't got time for your bullshit" at one point, before suddenly going "Oh, I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to do that. How can I make it up to you?" No matter how hard he scratched his head, or looked at his Queen, nothing could explain the bizarreness of such situations to him.

END OF PAGE 9 VOTE COUNT!

Carradice is closest to imprisonment, at L-4.
There are 13 players. It takes 7 votes to imprison.
Court Phase 1 ends on Saturday, 20th June, 7PM London Time + any overtimes. ONLY ONE DAY LEFT.
Check to make sure your vote is against the correct person.

dedoporno: Consider all of the above is happening after our last game together. You remember what happened then, right? Taking all of that into account do you still think I'm being unreasonable here to have at least some suspicion about your intentions?
No. You're right. You have to be suspicious if my intentions just as I have to be of yours (and everybody's)

Now I really want to see Carradice's flip.

trentonlf: We have about 2 days and 6 hours till end of day and the slow pace we move here on GOG means we really need to come to a consensus so a rushed imprisonment does not happen. So let's all list our top 3 and why
Fine. However I am more pro saving people than pro-imprisoning people:

1. I came to the realization that Lift has had too easy a D-1. He just lurked, voted for the guy doing the notorious thing, then lurked and drifted while he was fllying over the Seychelles looking for coconuts (excuse?) and getting ready for a great weekend (ATE?).

I would have liked to hear more from him. Like, a lot more. It is too easy to play the zealot and tunnel for a week, then weakly address questions without really taking the risk of antagonizing more people. Just the guy that at first sight seems more likely to get an easy imprisonment, because he did something weird, a joke, whatever. It is just too easy. Also, I do not forget how he was close to take Agent for an innocent, well explained, joke that had a clear background and explanation. Not only this makes the game boring: they dig a comfy lair of zealotness that will cover anything, for whenever there is a rainy day--a scummy day.

That said, he is not a priority, the priority is that...

2. It would be great to save Joe, Micro, S-something-MTGF-whatever. Also I would like to save the one player whose alignment I know 100%.

3. People in the second tier might be fine too: the Scenes, the Trents and so on.

Day 1 sucks, the only real info we have is what we can generate from questions and pushes. Well there’s been lots of questions and pushes so surely something has jumped out to you that deserves a vote or deeper questioning. You sitting back and not committing or pushing people looks like you’re trying to float by and hide in plain sight and not stir anything up.

I know who my 3rd is now

1. Carradice
2. Supplementscene
3. SMFR (SirPrimalform)

Lifthrasil: ...
(Lift I know you will appreciate this)

So, since Lift especified that he would be day-shooting whoever made a joke on being, well, not Town... Who knows if the joke will die. Just in case, let us give it a hearfelt farewell, until it returns some day.

So, lieber Lift, this one goes for you:

*A gang of masked guards enters the stage. Music starts. Now it is too late too run. They sing*

THE MERRY REBELLION

Everyone is busy within our great Rebellion

Dedo does the cooking, and Joe smells dandelions

Our lair if very tidy, we don't have no hellions

We will be preparing until the Earth aphelion

We see our strength exploited, of us, the Queen's "triskelions"

All we want is resting, we are not Circumcellions

And an end to demands, how to say, machiavellian.

* As the music ends, they bow to the public. The lights flick for a second. They have disappeared. Only an empty stage remains. The curtain falls*
Starting proper reading now. Almost 300 posts. This is going to take a while.
low rated
As the guards and such bicker amongst themselves, a cloud of smoke appears in one corner, and a diminutive merchant with a cart appears full of various wares.....seemingly out of nowhere.

"Hello, tough burly gentlemen and loveliest of ladies....especially you, oh exalted high one" the man says, bowing to the Queen and smiling at everyone "I am but a humble merchant, here to offer my wares".

"Would anyone care for a nice sash woven from the silk of the most prized of jeweled Saracen spiders?" he says towards the male guards, before turning to the women "Or perhaps a fragrance so breathtaking it calms even the most angry and hard of male hearts?"

Everyone stared towards the new man in their midst with differing looks, thinking various things. As they did so, the merchant then took a small velvet covered box from his cart and opened it while facing the queen:

"And this is for you...oh queen....a gift for allowing me the chance to come in and sell my wares to all these fine people. It is a magiked scepter befitting one of your royal stature.....use it as you will"

And with that the man and his cart disappear, for who knows how long, as these words echo through the halls and chambers:

"Call on me should any of you need anything...anything at all. I am here to do business, and to serve"

----------------------------------

As he leaves one guard asks: "I wonder if he has any apples...i'm hungry"

And to that question, a new answer comes seemingly from thin air: "Perhaps"

I am terrible, and I am sorry for that.

Going to try to get a read on carradice now at least.
Carradice is putting quite a lot of effort in, and on a cursory read I don't see anything overtly scummy. Not going to look there.

I know you’re into metal for music, you ever heard of a Mongolian metal band called The Hu? Friend of mine showed me a video of one of their songs and I can’t understand a word they are saying but I’m fascinated.
