JoeSapphire: I posted this before without commenting. At the beginning of the post microfish doesn't know about Joe. At the end of the post he's voting for him.
- a few hours later and without quoting or commenting on anything I've said I am, along with ZFR or maybe GAMERAGER, his bragging rights duo.
This question to Trent is the best justification for the vote I can see.
"still" and "convinced" surprised me here.
I find conviction of any form deeply unsettling. Twicefold in a mafia game.
But this is supposedly-continous conviction which had not been mentioned previously and appears to exist without any basis.
- micro was not convinced before
- micro has given no reason why he would be convinced.
So what's this about? I am of the opinion that, Microfish, U Suk.
also this:
the bolding and itallicising is microfish'. But also that's what I want to draw attention to.
Microfish - why are you convinced of me?
Microfish - what happens when two people are tied for most votes at end of Day?
Microfish - how many mafias are there?
Microfish - is there daychat?
Microfish - what's the in-game equivalent term for "lynch"?
100 points if you can answer without reading the rules first.
No helping anybody! I'm looking at you!
1. The post in question spans about 24 hours or more of playing catchup; writing my thoughts as I read other people's posts. Thus, my thoughts evolve from the beginning to the end of the post.
2. Have you said anything about who or what you are? All I've gotten from you are scum vibes.
3. I acknowledge that I failed to give my reasoning, but surely I commented on other's questioning? I get that you were in a bad mood for a bit, but things just seemed
off. As others have remakred in the past, a hunch is sometimes all we have to go on. Perhaps "convinced" is a bit strong, because I have no empirical evidence
proving that you are scum, but when I wrote that, my gut was hollering that you were.
3.A. You seem different, your scum hunting seemed phony or opportunistic, and we are/were reading the same situations from different sides throughout today. I just don't see anything that says you
aren't town, which means you are quite possibly scum. I do like your picking apart my arguments, as it shows more concentraded effort than I had previously observed. If you keep it up, I will remove my vote from you to ZFR.
B. When 2 are tied, it is a no-lunch.
C. Ratios tell us that there are 3 at least, or maybe more, depending on 3rd parties. There are at least 2, unless Pooka is running a
really weird game. The OP IIRC doesn't rule out 2 scum parties of two each, or third parties, so I will not either, especially as I have heard anecdotally about them.
D. Yes. Any party of two or more that isn't town has daychat [and presumably nightchat if it is mafia. Wouldn't that be a scream if mafia had daychat but not nightchat??? :D ]
E. Execute?
EDIT: I checked and the term is "imprison" However, given our queen's temperament, i suspect it will involve execution too.
EDIT 2: the OP states
Pookina: 6. Non-Town factions of two or more members have access to a 24/7 chat, running parallel to this thread.
This does not rule out 4 mafia, but it does rule out only 1.
The assumption that other players have been making is "3 scum" but i see nothing to back this up. There are a minimum of 2, ratios say 3, but there could be 4 or 2+2
Thank you for the clarification; I had not previously read it as "reason + extra unmentioned reasons". However, you are busting up my pet theory, and I am not happy about that as you are making me do more thinking.
>:-(
Gie me your other reasons please? Because you haven't and as a stand-alone reason it stinks. Coupled with other reasons, it might be a tipping point into a vote, but in and of and by and for and [insert other word here] itself, standing alone like it does, it is awfully shaky at best, and opportunistic at worst.

Aside: Have I mentioned before that one reason I like these games is because I expand my vocab and otherwise find reason to use Big Words®? If not, I'll go on record here and now.
