Overall, I think it added rather than detracted from this game - but I guess its all a matter of taste.
From my point of view it totally detracted from the game, as it created an imbalance that was not intended in the setup. From Day 2 on, there were always several character that were pretty much completely confirmed. It limited viable NK targets for scum, and also made it easier for town to pass with powers.
In the end, if the moderator doesn't mind quoting in his or her game, the moderator can adjust the rules accordingly. If it is in the rules, however, it should not be a matter of debate.
I can totally see how some thought it skewed it though. For me it helped - i mostly play on gut instinct anyway - rarely take notes, contradict myself depending on how im feeling at the time, the lot. I surprise myself sometimes with how often i manage to end up on the winning side, and surviving!
Actually - I probably survive a long time in games because Im so far off the truth the Mafia love it...;)

...no, actually I would have liked to see Sage win. She had the most difficult position and it would have been fun to see the underdog triumph. Even if as a Mod I, of course, were completely impartial! ;-)

I would have liked to have won too but going back I could have played this a bit different from the start but over all I had a blast this game. I think it was the role and the fact that I stopped with the notes. They were actually keeping me from enjoying the game and they would take up so much time going over and over the thread to try to note everything. I loved going into the game with a lets just have fun and see what I can do attitude. =)

I was just asked to explain the names after all. So here is the hidden meaning: all names were places (that much you found out). But Monolith names were places (railway stations) from within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The most powerful one (Godfather) had the name of the station right next to the power plant. Stan Semychody.
Clear Sky names were places in the Ukraine too, but from outside the Zone. I.e. from safe regions (as safe as it gets in Ukraine nowadays). And the Loner name was a place (a town but also an oil rig of the same name) in Russia. So not even in Ukraine at all.
Funnily one of the place names in Ukraine could also be translated as 'new guy'. I only noticed that, after already having chosen place names at random from the map. But since that translation was possible, and since the new guy, Bookwyrm, actually turned out to be town, he got that name. :-)
