for your clue is said one vowel like Oscar and you said "o"

Oscar has two vowels. So does that mean the name has only one O but other vowels or Only O as a vowel in the word?

I will clarify, since I think flubbucket might already be gone. The surname in question has but a single (1) vowel. The letter in question is "O".

Edit:
Oh, that was a bit ambiguous as well. Oh well.
