Vainamoinen: For what it's worth, yes, GOG must refund by the letter of their terms of use. :|
True... if and when they can't fix the problem or it would take too long.

You know, sometimes I have issues with my computer and I'm forced to send it in for repairs. The CPU went bad once, along with the hard drive. That's something upwards to 3 weeks for a repair.

Is waiting a few days for a patch too much to ask?

richlind33: Steam sux way more than GOG, Steam troll. I don't see GOG rolling out sleazy money-sponges like Neverwinter.

So with all due respect, piss off. : )

This is way more fun than NMS. lol

atlasnr: There's no reason for you to be disrespectful. You're not changing anyones mind by being a troll.
Who, me or rich? rich isn't being a troll. I was though.

Zaul: Upon release day today No Mans Sky was not only broken but unplayable.
...
Waiting for a patch isn't solving an issue, the game is clearly broken, poorly optimized and all around a dud.
If the patch fixes those problems, why not?

I'm surprised you act surprised that an indie game of this scope isn't buggy in the beginning. Now the game is getting its real test when it is being played on thousands or millions of PCs around the world.

The OP put a beautiful review up for the game. :P

Apparently it is.

Had to wait a couple weeks to get my PC repaired once too.
I just can't understand where the problem is if you have to wait for a few hours/ days to get a pazch for your game.

Geez. Crap like this is going to be all over the forum now, isn't it?

Have a little patience, folks. The game was only just released; give them a week or so to roll out some patches. I'm sure they'll do their best to eliminate all of the major technical issues. Also, "the game isn't good" isn't a valid reason for a refund, at least according to GOG's refund policy.

And if you can't deal with all that -- DO NOT PRE-ORDER GAMES.

You're welcome.

You are talking about people pre-ordering games. Lower your expectations please ;-)
Where the hell have you three been!? You could have ended this thread eons ago and saved us all this crap! :P

Fully digital/non-physical pre-orders at that. Because they wouldn't want to miss out, in case GOG runs out of copies to sell, right? :|

Probably out working as construction workers, demanding payment upfront and then leaving while saying "maybe we'll do the work later, stop being entitled just because you paid us your hard earned cash. Have a little patience, folks :)"

No problem. You're new to the forum and didn't know so I'll cut you some slack.

Just don't let it happen again. :D
