Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

How will this work for DOS. I'm so ready to play this game but I don't want to play it alone.
Maybe I just don't see it, but can someone explain how you back up games now? Previously I kept a copy of the game installers on my media center machine (I have bandwidth caps and would rather not re-download things if I don't have to), and would just copy them over to my gaming rig as needed.

Select the game in your library, click "More", then "Download Extras", and both the installers and the extras of a game should now be available for download.
-There are no points in the achievements

-It is not translated into Spanish

OK I tried that, but it's not working as I expect. If I do that, it does download the installer like GOG Downloader would. However, if I then click "Install" from Galaxy, it then downloads it again and installs, rather than using the installer that's already downloaded.

If I don't already have a game installer downloaded and just click "Install", it will download and install, but it won't leave me with the installer to use as a backup either, it just downloads straight into the GoG Games folder where the installations reside.

Finally, if I download the installer separately, and manually launch that from within Windows, the game will install, but Galaxy won't recognize it as being installed, even though it was installed in the correct folder and everything. I tried completely exiting and restarting Galaxy too, it just doesn't show up.

Anyone know if this is intended behavior? I'd like to make use of the benefits of Galaxy without losing the ability to backup up those installers, but it seems that as of now I'd have to download each game twice essentially, which as I said originally would waste my limited bandwidth.

"Install" is exclusively for installing games right away. If you want to backup, then you have to do it as I mentioned above. Now, if you want to both backup your game and import it to the Galaxy, you'll have to install it from windows, then click the "+" icon on the top-left of the client, select "Scan and Import Folders", direct it to where the game is installed, and it should import it to the client.

Oh OK, I see. The scan and import doesn't seem to work for the game I tried though (Duke Nukem 3D). Maybe that part doesn't work yet?

If the installer is newer and has been updated for Galaxy it should show up in Galaxy, now if that is true if Galaxy is open when you install it I do not know, but I believe it will.

Eventually all installers will be Galaxy compatible...

Did you download/install it recently? If not, then you should download/install the latest version. If you did, however, you could also go to the library, select Duke Nukem 3D, "More", "Manage", "Import Folder", select the folder that the game has been installed to, and see if that works for you. If not, then you are advised to report this to GOG, as per the instructions on the first post of the thread.

Edit: Looking at it now, it doesn't seem that Duke Nukem 3D has been updated to become compatible with Galaxy, so you'll have to wait till GOG updates the game.

Got it now. The "+ menu > scan and import" didn't work, but doing so from the More>Manage>Import did. I'm going to assume that's a bug then. I think I got this figured out then, so for my purposes I'll be ignoring the Install button within Galaxy and just importing after manually installing as I have up until now, so that Galaxy then recognizes them. Thanks for the help.
im having problems with scanning and importing games myself
tried the computer wide one, nothing works despite having several games already installed from gog
So I have 2 drives, my C drive is a SSD and my E is a standard harddrive. When I set to install on my E drive, the install will say it failed, saying it ran out of disk space, but I have plenty of space. It installs fine on C but I don't want to fill up my C drive with the games. Is this a bug in Galaxy or is something else wrong? My version is 1.0.0.871 and I'm running Windows 8.1. Galaxy is also installed to my E drive.

Go to the game that you have installed in the library view, then click on More, I believe, and then do import from folder and choose the folder that the game is installed in. Did that on a few and it did a few file updates and then they were showing as installed in Galaxy.
