I've been working on reading through the thread again, trying to scrutinize everything and make some notes for faster reference. I haven't reached any of the wagons yet, so I have no analysis on that yet.

I have been examining out interactions between players, trying to see who might be the remaining pair.

JMich - Yogsloth -> This doesn't float. JMich jumped on Yog for some points that seem rather hard to engineer. Currently, I'm left with the conclusion that both are town. Yog has been accused of bad phrasing multiple times. JMich's interaction with Yog did strike me as odd. But I don't think either one is on the scum team.

Lift - Hijack -> Lift was all over Hijack pretty quickly, and pretty harshly. Hijack started off by acting like a jerk (tl;dr), and then got nasty when Lift continued the assault. Turns out Lift was town, but so far Hijack feels kind of town too. I can see why Hijack fought back; I'd probably have felt similarly were I on the receiving end.

Trent - Yog -> Trent seemed rather heavy-handed on Yog. Turns out Trent was town too. Jury is still out on Yog; we'll see by the end of the game.

Flub - me -> I made a weak vote, and Flub jumped down my throat. Most people that commented at the time seemed to see Flub as the more town candidate; I'm not really clear why. Turns out Flub was scum. And I just noticed that 3/4 of the dead people attacked another player aggressively. AFP sort of went after Yog before dying, I'll be interested in seeing how aggressively after I get there.

JMich/Trent - me -> I've said some similar things to Yog (at least in my mind), but they were more interested in Yog. I think I know why, but this is another potential oddity.

Right now, I think Sage and Vitek are the remaining two scum. I really wish Robb hadn't had to bail before the end of Day 2; I think he might have hammered.

I am not sure at all why my feelings that you may be scum are OMGUSy - Did you do something to piss me off that I am unaware of? Oh is it that you have no problem voting for me all game. If so no I am not at all upset over this. I think everyone should be voting or questioning who they find to have scummy behavior or posts or whatnot.. My opinion comes from your play and some of your posts. You remind me of MrK. You seem very talkative and helpful but something is off. You seem to me like you are trying to be very town and almost like a bit to much.

I have Jmich and Yogs down as scmmmy because of the was they are posting. Jmich I feel is almost not in the game except a post here or there. From the town Jmich I have played with before I have seen a ton more questioning or things and more theories. He has a mind that can think ahead and figure out what ifs. I am not seeing that in this game. Like I said to me he is a bit of here but not really here. Yogs- Well he goes up and down my list constantly. Mostly it is a gut feeling that something is off with him. He seems different this game. He is not the wall of text yogs this game. he is a bit more reserved in his posts.

When I am reading and going over the thread I look at the person and that persons actions and posts. If that person acts scummy I am going to put them in my scum list. I think to give someone a pass because I feel someone they are fighting with is a scum and they would not do that is a load of bs. If I remember correctly one of your scum buddies started the lynch on you day one in a game. So - no I am not even going to look at things like a set up. I am going to look at each person and their actions. Also my reads and feelings change so everyone needs to be looked at because they could go from town to scum in a heart beat.

In his next to last post, thinks Robbeasy looks less scummy and Sage looks more. Votes for Sage again.

Looking back over the interactions between Bookwyrm and flubb, with flubb flipping scum, Bookwyrm gains town points. While it’s possible this was a scum act, it reads more like scum pressuring a town.

I see so much WIFOM when considering flubb’s last post about Robbeasy and Sage, I’m leaving that alone. With flubb’s votes on these two, I see possibilities on both town and scum sides.

I do think it’s likely that flubb would list a scum buddy as leaning scum. Between the two days that was:
Bookwyrm, Hijack, Leonard, Robbeasy, Sage (and possibly JMich and yogs, listed as neutral to leaning scum).

Two things catch my attention from that list:
1. Robbeasy and Sage (and JMich) voted for Pilot but not for flubb.
2. As Vitek noted (post #729), I find it noteworthy that flubb mentioned Leonard scummy on both days but did not pursue it further. It could be nothing but it did catch my attention.

Robb’s actions at the end of day two were strange enough (refusing to look at anyone as scum besides Sage) that coupled with his early day one actions, I find him scummy. If Robb is town, Vitek is in rough spot stepping into Robb’s role. I’ve found Vitek’s contributions as pro-town.

If Robb is scum, why would one scum press so hard for another scum’s (Sage) lynch, even after the wagon fell apart. I guess it could be an act, but I find it unlikely that Robb and Sage are both scum.

Given Sage’s re-iteration today about finding flubb scummy, I find it suspicious that she did not vote on flubb. I don’t remember exactly when the hammer fell, but it did not seem like we had much time left (granted, CSPVG did not indicated when the day would end on the given deadline).

JMich seemed mainly absent from Day 2. I hope his contribution Today is more substantial. Somebody by this point must look scummy.

I missed that as I've been working off the lynch wagon lists compiled by the other players (too tired and not enough time to reread the whole thread), but to be honest that really doesn't help your cause much, voting on someone after the wagon has already collapsed doesn't really say much. Although I suppose it might be a bit of a stretch to suggest you switched your vote from one scum buddy to hammer the other.

I'd have to recheck to verify the accuracy of this statement, I thought we came right down to the wire yesterday with flub and that he wasn't really saying much of use towards the end.

Exactly that, if we assume you are scum then we ignore flub's vote on you that means I started the wagon that nearly got you lynched, and I've had you as scum for most of the game, so yes I would suggest that you claiming I'm scummy definitely has an element of OMGUS.
And really? Are we playing the same game? I've hardly posted this game, it's been two or three days between my posts a lot of the time, I wouldn't exactly have called myself talkative this game.

Indeed, you are correct. Mrk started the wagon that got me lynched in the space game, but we didn't fight like cat and dog for most of the game, he didn't push for my lynch for half the game, he just placed a vote on the player who was most scummy at the time.
I think it's ridiculous to ignore the interactions between two players and not consider how likely those interactions are to be between two scum or two town players (or a scum and a town player) as it can be very helpful to rule out certain possibilities.
To be honest, although I'm still not certain of yogs and feel he's too busy pushing us all to play to play himself, I do have him sliding back towards town now, and conversely JMich's complete disinterest in posting anything remotely relevant is making me rethink my position on him. But I would eat my hat if both of them are scum.

There is too much hockey on tv to follow this game. Yesterday I saw at least small part of 7 different games, few of them I saw complete. Plus I followed text stream of football. :-)


I also watched twitch All-Stars Mafia yesterday and it was quite fun. They have sligthly different rules with absolutely no flip at all. In yesterday game there was cop fake-claim on D2 and that one was followed by counterclaim by fellow scum. One of them got of course lynched and on D3 there was real cop claim who ousted the other one and the last game as well.
It was awful play from mafia but it was really entertaining how people reacted to 3 cop claims. :-)

In this summary this looks like flub unvoted Sage right in or after that scum list when Sage was at L-1 but in fact it was 4 days and 70 posts later when Sage was already down to 4 or 3 votes, flub had several votes himself and there was little chance of Sage getting lynched at that moment.

Btw. If you thing there is anything strange about Rob unwilling to look at anyone else than his lynch choice then you apparently don't know him at all. He tunnels on one person unless he is unable to attain the lynch for a long time (like several Days). Then he caves in and starts voting anyone just to get any lynch. :-)

@cristigale; You have issue with Sage not voting flub is she find him scummy and I am interested in the same thing with you.
Just when the wagon was starting, you called sage scummiest of all, then you ignored it, even though you posted while she was at L-2 and only when the wagon started to fall apart you commented on it, saying Sage is on top of your list but her scumminess could be caused by other causes.
I don't find your behaviour too reassuring and similar to what you are holding against Sage.

You seem quite pro-town but you usually appear quite later when some case is going and already gained traction, offer some breakdown with mostly restating things that happened and offer late vote (vote 5 on Rob (last one), vote 6 on Pilot and vote 6 on flub).


@Hypersomniac; Your only vote whole game was against Sage on D1. Why are you so stingy with your vote (I know, I know, coming from someone who rarely votes...) and why you too mostly ignored Sage's wagon on D2?


While i am mostly looking a adalia and Leonard for scum, Sage flip would currently provide me with solution to many questions. It could confirm several players as town if she would flip scum and some more likely to be scum if she is town. But right now I am not that desperate that it would make her my prefered lynch.

Well, Sage was claiming that I was talking a lot and saying nothing, which isn't really the case this game. If she'd said I wasn't talking as much as usual that would be a criticism I could accept as I've just been finding it hard to really get involved this time round, but to say I've been talkative means she either isn't paying attention or is down right lying.

Just thought I’d drop some overall Day 3 player notes, so I don’t get stuck on only one issue. Take as you will. Order taken from the OP.

1) JMich- You all know how I stand here. He hasn’t offered much logic or insight. Has played a very lurky game. Virtually every single one of his posts has been to interact with me, either defensively or derisively. Has contributed almost nothing to the conversation. If he’s Town, I can’t figure out what his game plan is.

2) yogsloth- Still trying my hardest here!

3) adaliabooks- Sounds mostly Town, but I give him credit as I mentioned before, I thought he sounded pretty pro-Town in the last game. (Well, right up to that “throat-slashing doctor” bit!) I’ve got him mostly neutral, with a few slightly scummy vibes mostly due to some reaction posts and some fishing where he keeps asking for his scumtells. We’ll see!

4) Leonard03- Not a great start, and still not much contribution, but he’s pretty much at full neutral for me. Difficult to get a great read. If he’s scum here in his first game, I’d say he’s doing a pretty good job of blending in. Would REALLY like to see him add a post like this one with full reads on everyone.

5) Bookwyrm627- Making me uncomfortable. A good start, I thought, but I have some bad vibes on his wagon placements. Feels like scum trying to lay low on a Town wagon, but jumping on a scum wagon at fifth position to get some cred. Feels like mrkgnao positioning a bit, if I may meta for a moment. Got my eye on you!!!

7) Hijack- Need more HijacK. Need A LOT more HijacK. I feel like he’s mostly been Town, but not enough posting. Nothing in two days now, I think? Seems fixed on Sage, but no vote. He’s still playing the long game. I have him neutral.

10) Sage- Early crime of lurking almost got her lynched, but I feel like her contributions have improved vastly. I’m not bothered by her “fall on the sword” posts because I think I get where she’s coming from on that one. I almost feel the same way myself… if everyone thought me flipping Town would get real information, I’d almost be willing to eat it too. I’ve moved her into the “likely Town” category. I won’t be voting for her Today.

12) cristigale- I have her leaning Town with some quality organization and fact-finding. Improved participation as well. If she’s scum – great job, because I’m not looking in her direction at all right now.

13) Vitek- Sounding pretty resoundingly pro-Town. Great job coming in as a replacement. Of course, this crazy guy (whose “voice” online for me will always be Peggy) is definition of wily veteran. This guy very smart guy. Love having him in game, yes? Will keep eye on this guy, but no Vitek for me Today.

14) HypersomniacLive- Asking some very good questions – even some of me, and I appreciate that. But as per his style, doesn’t really follow up after the questions and then never votes. He’s the smartest guy in the room and knows it. Graces us with his presence every once in a while. Would really REALLY REALLY love to see a post like this from him after gathering so much data and asking so many questions.
