JMich: Everyone who has opted to receiving PMs has the button. If one has opted out of receiving PMs (like Elenarie for example) doesn't have the PM button visible.
Hm, I never saw anyone to completely block PM so I assumed my answer is accurate.
@mefet; glad to help even if I misunderstood you. AFAIK it is not possible to send someone first PM without his post.
Nagarythe Decadence (Dark Elves) vs. Hamburg Hammerfists (Dwarves) will start any minute now.
Oh my... my second level up of Kroxigor is doubles again. I don't even now what to take now.
Any ideas?
Some guide advices Dodge but it is useless without Break Tackle and even then I probably wouldn't take it.
So Pro perhaps? Or I will jsut ignore it and take not double skill.

Dodge would be more for avoiding being knocked down when someone blocks you and rolls a "defender stumbles".
Since it's pretty hard to knock a Kroxi down anyway with their strength, I wouldn't take it.

doubles doubles!

Dodge wouldnt be used for dodging - but rather for not being knocked down, so its far from uselsess. Blodge kroxy :D

Then again, pro would make him quite much more reliable. Someone might say sidestep - but id go either pro or dodge - depending do you want to attempt free rerolls (bonehead!) or stay up standing (dodge).

I agree with IIppo, pro is great for big guys, you're not going to use your rerolls most of the time, so pro is great for bonehead and similar
Oh, right that's part of dodge I forgot. Still I think Pro is more important for me. With success of Bonehead around 66% in last matches I could really use some reliability. It will even help with loner, right? I'll get the same chance to re-roll (50%) but without the risk of losing re-roll. Is it correct?

Yes, that's the way I understand it.
If you don't take pro, you might take leader for the extra reroll, but pro is probably better.

pro has flat 50% of giving free reroll for that particular player - every turn. remember, you can also attempt to reroll block dice for example... if pro does not work, you have chance to use team reroll to attempt that pro 50% again whether you get "free" reroll or not :)

...just remember to go bloodbowl settings and change the pro skill use to "ask" - then every time that player uses reroll, the game will ask whether you want to use pro or not. if you choose no, team reroll will be used instead.

i wouldnt take leader for kroxy in any case - leader is too passive for that player as any other player could have it just as well with double (skink would be best candidate). if not pro or dodge, then regular strength skill would do just fine, there are plenty good to choose from.

Thanks for help guys, I think I'll take pro. It's honour to get answer from our resident Pro specialist. :-p

I was considering leader for a short time as well, but Kroxigor is only one of kind so I don't want to burden him with it.

The Dodge on him sounds just wrong on him. That big clumsy lizard dodging out of way of attacks... that's too much for my mind to comprehend. :-D

Piranjade: Nagarythe Decadence (Dark Elves) vs. Hamburg Hammerfists (Dwarves) will start any minute now.
Ok this was a hell of a match. In the first half I desperately tried to hold the ball while all arround me the elves swarmed and attacked. At the end of turn 8 I made the last move available for me to get the touchdown: Pick up the ball with a sure hands runner, turn it over to a agi2 blocker, move, dodge one time and make 2 GFI for a TD. It was just desperate, and like most desperate moves it worked, without even using a reroll.

The second half was a desperate *hunt all possible catchers* on my side, while one brave lineman slowly moved to get a little pressure on the agi 6 ball carrier. In the end I managed to *force* E_A to try the pass and behold, Zam Rockhead intercepted it. So despite the fact that you can not completely hinder a team like this darkelve team played by such a strong player like E_A from scoring with actions where the statistics say they typically work, you can still try and sometimes you intercept with a rolled 6 (or 5, not sure, but I believe I needed a 6).
From there on it was a "zam has the beer barrel, all protect him" kind of playstyle, again desperately trying to hold the ball while the elves swarmed out and attacked the cage from all sides. But in the end, with a slight luck advantage on my side, I managed to hold on to the ball and won 1-0.

On a sidenote we both failed at peculiaritiesof the game. E_A did not see that the kick-off action where he actually can freely reorganize his defence, also results in a random player distribution to begin with. No idea why it is implemented that way, but it is. So in the end AV7 players stood at the line of scrimage and his assasin was badly hurt right from the start.
I on the other side did completely waste my Wizard. I just clicked on the fireball to see how many squares it attacks and after that waited for the "use-the-wizard"-Clock to reach zero, sure that I could not accidently use the fireball afterwards but...of course you can use it even when the turn of the opponent started already and I wasted it on an empty area of the field by trying to get my "normal" mouse back.

Replay can be found here.

Misfits vs Natural Disaster scheduled for Saturday 20:30 (GMT+1).

Last season's match was pretty intense - Piran was at a disadvantage from the start due to being ill, and her best player (Knetto) missed the match, but it looked like the game would end in a tie - until I got lucky and managed a last-minute touchdown. I also remember one of her blitzers wreaking havoc on my team, including killing my kicker. ;)

Let's see how it goes this time! :)
Hey guys, this probably won't surprise many of you given my last couple of weeks, but I'm going to have to unfortunately withdraw from the season. When I wanted to initially join the league, I did not have nearly as much on my plate as I have at the moment. I wish I planned it better, because I sincerely want to be more apart of the community and the league. A few of you know I'm going through an illness in the family, which has pretty much been the clincher in making this decision.

I'm sorry for any trouble or inconvenience this causes. I would hope to get another chance in the future, as I enjoyed the games I did play -- even if I was mercilessly stomped :D

Well, RF must take preference. Perhaps in the future you'll get another chance to get stomped ;).
As I had to play against him next I don't know exactly what is supposed to happen...If he isn't replaced I win?

We now have two open spots in the league.
