Humans, Xenomorphs, Hunters - one of them is the deadliest species in the Universe!

Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000, a suspenseful Sci-Fi first-person shooter with three very different single-player campaigns, one for each species, and a frantic multiplayer mode, is available FREE for 48 hours on GOG.com, as a part of our GOG Galaxy beta tests!

Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000 features the Colonial Marine, Alien and Predator Campaigns and the frenetic single-player Skirmish mode from the original title: Alien Versus Predator Gold Edition, which was released to massive acclaim in 2000. It's been updated for modern systems and includes support for Xbox 360 Controller. The three most ferocious species in the universe in a bloodthirsty battle for the ultimate prize: survival. Take your pick: be a Colonial Marine, a Predator or an Alien. Fight through suspense-filled environments: from starships and space stations to colonial bases and eerie planetscapes. One wrong move turns you from hunter to prey. Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Predator Tag, and Cooperative modes avait for you in the multiplayer section!

How to get the game for free? Simply sign up for the next stage of GOG Galaxy beta tests and an e-mail with your activation code will be sent to you within the next few days. You'll be helping us to analyze and improve the performance of the multiplayer component of GOG Galaxy, our DRM-free online gaming platform, by playing this acclaimed dynamic first person shooter! The game will be added to your account and yours to keep forever. Don't wait - you can only sign up until Friday, October 17, at 9:59AM GMT.
We're started sending out the last (and the biggest) batch of keys - essentially everyone who signed up should be getting their key in the matter of the next few hours (we really have a A LOT of signups :).

Although the game includes full single player campaign, we'd most appreciate if you could please join or host a multiplayer match today - our reason behind this give-away was to test Galaxy multiplayer in the first place :). In case of problems or if you want to share feedback, please use our dedicated forum: http://www.gog.com/forum/aliens_versus_predator_classic_2000

PS: If you won't get your key by end of Tuesday, please do:
1. check your spam folder - if our mail isn't there, then
2. contact our Support

MarkoH01: You are not the only one. Try to re-register. If you get a message that tells you, you have already be registered you just have to wait a bit longer. GoG already posted that it could take a few days.
avatar
Xardas722: It is too late to try that. Because the giveaway did already end.
Sorry - I did not realize that.

Destro: .....big stress test as possible... which probably will be after the weekend, not before - be patient please :)
Not enough stress yet with all the worried GoG users who are waiting and asking for their code? ;)

Guys I don't see a sign up link. What am I supose to do??
I'm not sure what to expect here. I entered and did not receive a game key or invite for galaxy. Are these one and the same or are they separate items? When I tried to re-enter it said my email address had been entered. I'm currently out of town, so no big rush for either, I'm just not sure if things went through.

Nothing. The giveaway ended some hours ago. You only can wait if someone has a spare key or wait for the official release (for $5.99).

I'm pretty sure it went through. Most people didn't get their keys by now. GOG said that they will send out the majority of keys on monday, so they can perform a huge stress-test when everyone tries to play at the same time.

GoG mentioned that most of the codes would go out after the weekend. You might have a code in your email right now, it might get there tomorrow, it could be Monday ;)

As far as Galaxy - I'm guessing you won't even know it's there. It'll probably be installed along with the game but you won't get to "see" any of it, other than the fact that it's handling the matchmaking and multiplayer side of the game. That's my guess anyway. Oh and I wouldn't worry, it went through especially if you had the message that the email was already entered.

You will see the launcher that handles the patching and auto-updating. But it isn't that spectacular.

Okay, thanks. Sounds like the Galaxy part is similar to how it is with the Witcher Adventure Game beta then.
They must be sending out more now, just got mine... unfortunately won't be able to download until the morning most likely.
I'm sorry, but did I just see a post from about an hour ago of a noob ripping GOG because of this offer?

Please tell me I just misread that or my sarcasm detector is broken or something?
Thank you very much gog for the key to this game. One question though since I decided to try the multiplayer out. How long is the testing period going to last?

Is the giveaway still running? Just registered a few minutes ago but can't find anything about getting AvP classic... back in 2000 it was so great playing it with friends on LAN...
