God, they're such assholes. 3 times+ discounted on humble. 3 times+ discounted on Steam (starting about a YEAR ago). But if you're on gog, you can fuck right off. :)

And if you try to bring their assholishness to their attention, they will tell you that you're cheap and you should buy games based on quality and not price.

Your first sale here will be way too little way too late, Yacht Club.

Who tells you you're cheap? Yacht Club, Humble, (gog maybe?), or the rabid steam lunatics on the steam forums.

Pretty sure GOG would be the last group of people on earth to call me cheap. :) Email from Yacht Club. It was implied, not stated outright. Their old line about how they don't think they should put their game on sale because it devalues it and people should pay what they (Yacht Club) think it's worth. The implications are that only people on GOG should be asked to pay what the devs think it is worth. Also: "I hope in the future, you'll choose to play our games based on their quality, not on their price." Assholes. :)

Groupees Be Mine 23 will be up "soon" so far it says there are only 4 games in it, but people in chat are saying Groupees is waiting on confirmation for a 5th game before they start preorders. No hints yet either. If memory serves the preorder price for a be mine bundle is usually $2.50 min.

Didn't want to be biased and keep gog off the list of possibilities unlikely as it may be :p
Were gog to call me cheap I'd be like "you're right! ^_^ *high five* "

I agree with you if it goes on a deeper sale elsewhere that's my new buy price at minimum. If I have to wait it out even longer I'd want it even cheaper than the "global" market low, something like the gog bundles of random with X% off for titles you own already.

Saw they did a decent job with the physical ps4 version recently with an actual manual I think it had artwork too, but all that junk shouldn't effect digital and iirc it was only $5 more than their perceived value of themselves here.

Was somewhat on the fence and saw your post. Not a fan of the company name, and your experience seems to have nailed my suspicions.
Was hoping it was an ironic name about some twats in a Yacht club. :(

I've just looked into Bundle Stars discounted games and one caught my eye:

Dishonored Game of The Year Edition for €8.49 instead of €24.99. Buying the core game and DLCs separate would be waaaay too expensive. Since I love this game and the discount seems to be quite nice, I'm leaving it here.

ErekoseDM: perceived value of themselves
I think this fragment describes the situation perfectly. Unfortunately I think some of us missed the memo that they're god's gift to gaming. Surprising, since even their twitter page proclaims they're geniuses. :)

But I could live with their self-proclaimed awesomeness if they had been as "awesome" to GOG users as anyone - everyone - else.

2K weekend on the Humble Store, with discounts up to 75%. All games require a Steam account, except for the first Bioshock which also has a DRM-free build. In addition, by spending $12/€12/£10 on 2K games, you'll get a Steam key for The Darkness II.
Be Mine 23 starts "soon" at groupees, no preorder.

EDIT: There very well may be a 24 hour preorder after soon, but I'll be in the bunker for a few days so won't edit this further.

*Proceed cautiously! ;)
