kitsuneae: That list would be full of unrealistic body proportions all around, nudity, blood and swearing. Also dudes with huge bodies and tiny heads. You can bet on it.

It kind of bothers me that it is so possible to make lists like these based on stereotypes. Like If the box art is cute, has pink on it, and/or features cartoon cute girls it is most likely a "ladylike" game. I love when games subvert this. Hatoful Boyfriend for the win!

Emob78: Confusion should never be mistaken for subversion.
Actually, it subverts the girly games thing harder and harder the further you go. It's a post apocalyptic story in which you play an unwitting pawn/victim of a political regime who meets a horrible fate. It looks all cutesie, but the cuteness is a ruse in and out of game world. This game is dark. It's a horror game wrapped up in pink bows and cute birds.

Thy spammer shall not desecrate our precarious GOG forum!

*Coughs* Alright, what I meant to say is that the OP is a commercial spammer.

Pay attention to the details. Account created: Dec 2018. Games owned: Zero. The content is a silted combination of words meant to mesh with keywords of the GOG website, so that it would not seem too out of place and thus bypass spam filters. Yes, if you are wondering, this is the adaptive trick of smarter spambots.

What the OP actually meant to say is:
"Want to play "games" but don't know what "games" to pick? Check out our tutorial!
(Insert advertising link)(except due to the rule that GOG made, accounts below 5 rep are not allowed to post links)

While I get that it's an eye-catching topic, it's a pity discussion wasn't started by a genuine GOG poster.

The OP's from Vietnam. What, you have a problem with Asian spammers? How problematic of you.

Is it so hard to believe that a new user would ask a n00b question?
I hate it when someone asks a question that leaves a LOT to be clarified by the OP, then doesn't come back to the thread at all to explain what they really mean with their post. There's a lot of talking to the void here.
Games designed by women would be a good place to look.

For example, Playboy: The Mansion would be suitable. (It's designed by Brenda Romero, who also designed Wizardry 8.) A woman designed that game, so it's a good game for women to play, right?

For more serious recommendations, I would list Wizardry 8, Bard's Tale 3 (avoid the DOS and Amiga versions), and Dragon Wars.

Axel2801: Want to play games but do not know which game to play? Looking forward to the tutorial
Step 1: Ask your husband. If you don't have a husband, you should marry first. It's not suit for a woman to distract herself, instead of doing her primal duty.
Step 2: Do as your husband tells you.

(That was obviously a joke, as OP is probably trolling.)

ZFR: Well, with your right hand on your mouse and left hand on arrow keys, how do you press the spacebar?
A few solutions:
1. Use forearm (or elbow if your hands are short enough).
2. Use chin.
3. Change hands, so your right hand is on arrow keys and use right thumb.
4. Use WASD.
5.Redefine keys to use other key for spacebar action.

P.S. This question is actually less stupid than OP.

Some women gamers that I personally know

Woman A (German)
Started PC games when she was like 10 years old. Got some proficiency in C++ back then. Famously inserted her teacher's picture into a Doom level. Always builds her own PC. For some odd reason, it was me who got her off the PC sauce and hooked her on the PSX and consoles. She now owns a truckload of consoles, including an SNES with a GameBoy emulator (and my GB games). She's doing very well with first person shooters, and enjoyed a whole lot of games from the more narrative based (Uncharted etc) via the solid mixtures (Dragon Age III) to the more hardcore experiences (new Doom).

Woman B (German)
Started gaming with the PSX and got enamored with racers primarily. Which is odd seeing that like me, she can't really play first person games. She often plays games via network with Woman A, centers heavily on narrative games these days. I've spent a few days with her in May/June, when she was kicking my ass around on some PS2 racers. Granted, I really suck at these.

Woman C (Norwegian)
Builds her own PCs, streamed some adventure games for my community. I don't know what she plays these days, but I do know that you don't build a hardcore PC if you don't play the hardcore stuff on it.

Woman D (Norwegian)
Half asian and covered in tattoos, I haven't talked to her in ages. But she's still in my Discord channel, and we see her playing/streaming some weird-ass shooter with people all the time. Like, all the fucking time.

Woman E (American)
She likes it simple and probably couldn't figure out how to build her PC. She streamed about half a dozen games for my community, most of them slow-paced point & clicks. After she finished Breath of the Wild, tried to get her to stream/play Beyond Good & Evil... but the driving sequences definitely aren't her cup of tea, so we abandoned that idea.

Woman F (German)
I work with the little blue to green haired punk and she's putting one Life is Strange meme after another on her instagram, tumblr or whatever is rad these days. No idea what else she plays, but one day I'm going to find out. :P

Woman G (German)
Plays mostly the Story/Actiony stuff on PS4 and has recently completed The Witcher III. She always seems to have the good new stuff, so I'm wondering whether she accidentally slips these games in her bag at work (which happens to be Amazon).

Woman H (Australian)
Sadly haven't talked to her in a while. She's from Australia orginally, then went to England for a job and then to San Francisco. She was heavily into Telltale's games, so we ended up moderating their forum together with a wacky bunch of mods. Then Telltale made her Senior Creative Communications Manager. A few years later she came to an agreement with them while she was on maternity leave when the first batch of layoffs struck. Wam, she was out of the picture. Haven't talked to her since sadly. We wanted to meet for gamescom, but she never went. And she never wrote that letter of recommendation! Dammit. :)

... these are all real gamer persons that I like. So, yeah, all kinds of games are suitable for women, but not necessarily for you personally.

If you're asking yourself right now why this post is down-rated: Evidently, MRAs/Incels whose reality was shattered to smithereens. Or Nazis. Or both. Merry Christmas, everyone!

/edit January 2019: I think I'm adding to that list because frankly, I know a good few more.

What if I'm already married, but don't have a husband?

Marry again. Isn't it obvious. :P

Ask your wife, she's a woman, she should know which games are suitable for women ;-)

If your spouse has a different third gender, than marrying isn't the proper solution for this conundrum.

And neither does any of the solutions get us any closer to the question why the opening poster hasn't shown up no more for clarification of the strange question he (*edit: or she, or they) started this topic with :-(
