No games are suitable for women!

Wait no, that's backwards. All games are suitable for women!

I always get those mixed up.

More seriously, I stand by the idea that all games are suitable for women. However, in order to help you we need to know why a game might not be suitable for women (in your opinion) so that we might suggest things that avoid whatever your triggers are.

I would pretty much agree with that, with the proviso that there may be some games that are so sexist that they wouldn't be suitable for women, though I can't think of any really bad examples off hand. (Then again, I could argue that such horribly sexist games would not be suitable for *anyone*.)

One game I would recommend, if you don't mind something a bit queer, is Timespinner; it's a Metroidvania in a style similar to the GBA and DS Castlevanias, but it has a female main character and a large portion of the cast is LGBTQ+ in some way.

Edit: Why is this post "low rated"? What did I do wrong here?

I agree, and frankly they'd make me uncomfortable too. I would perhaps instead class those as unsuitable for feminists. Or maybe unsuitable for human beings.

EDIT: Low rating eh? No doubt there are some people out there who think sexism is a good thing. I question their human being credentials.

There was that Japanese game Rapelay:

As to the question of OP: Maybe some adventure with a female protagonist? E.g. the Blackwell series or Shardlight.
Stereotype much? Sheesh!

Yikes. That's an odd question.

I'm female, and can categorically say EVERY game is suitable for a woman.

I play first-person shooters, RPGs, point-and-click-adventure games, horror games, grand strategy games, casual games -- you name it, I'm kicking ass at it :), as are all female gamers I know.
Syberia, a delightful adventure game with a good story.
The Longest Journey, also an adventure game, one of the best :)
Machinarium

I don't think this question is odd. Men and women are different ... get over it. My wife enjoys playing a lot of casual games, like farming and puzzle games. There's nothing wrong with a particular group of people identifying with a particular game or genre ... there's nothing sexist or bigoted about that. If you're a woman and you enjoy playing 'girly' games, good for you. If you're a woman that enjoys playing male focused games, good for you. That being said, we shouldn't be offended by the stereotype if it [typically] holds true. Women tend to like farming and puzzle games ... and there's nothing wrong with that. Men tend to like more action oriented games ... and there's nothing wrong with that. Why don't we celebrate our differences, rather than try to be the same.

As far as recommendations are concerned, you should try out Lumino City. https://www.gog.com/game/lumino_city
